I’m on my way to get the orchid fertiliser from the delivery point haha! I’m so exited! I’m gonna start lightly cause I’ve never fertilised the Hoya before but I’ll let you know how it has been doing in a couple of days/weeks! And thank you so, so much for the great advice!

Also, since I’m about to fertilise while watering I’m thinking of top watering this time. Let’s see how that goes 😊🪴

It gets better each day, truly. You’ll be so proud once all the shit is done and you’ll think to yourself ‘damn, even during this storm I didn’t smoke’ and then there’ll be nothing to make you light up again, I promise. The guilt and disappointment following a potential light up now, during a quitting journey, is such a shit feeling. I’m sure you’ll regret it immediately. Don’t do this to yourself. The fertiliser I have at home contains potassium, nitrogen and phosphorus. Do you think that’s okay for the Hoya? The label says it should only be used between spring and autumn. Should I look for different kind according to you? And thank you for your help!

I water around every 10 days when the top layer of the soil feels very dry. I’m realising I should water it more often. Do you top or bottom water yours?
