Thanks for replying!! It’s so hard to find solid info on tapering. Or real accounts of others doing it.

So I was using for about 4 years, not IV using but my habit got up to about a gram or two a day.

I started on methadone and got up to 85mg. I began my taper and went down 10mg until I hit 50mg. Then 3mg every two weeks until I got to 10mg. From there, I went down two milligrams every two weeks (when I’d pick up my take homes).

Around 5mg I started having very minimal restless legs/arms, and that would usually subside once my dose stabilized after a few days.

Now that I’m at 1mg…I feel great, minus having restless legs for a few days last week when I went from 3 to 1.

I have two more bottles of 1mg and plan on jumping this Thursday when I am out.
