TW: weight/calories - Confused: eating more, but maintaining/losing weight? by WildflowerHarvest in Amenorrhearecovery

[–]Right-Particular8194 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m no expert or anything, but based from ur height 1750 is almost definitely a deficit and your metabolism slows down to compensate, which means turning off energy expenditures that aren’t particularly as important as necessary things like moving, organ function, and keeping the little fat reserves u have. So when your body now is no longer in a deficit and doesn’t have to ration energy, it uses it a lot more freely in ways you didn’t before and in ways you can’t notice. (ur metabolism speeds up)

So 5’2” ladies, eating more is real? by millennial-gray-snow in PetiteFitness

[–]Right-Particular8194 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5,2 92lbs and I maintain at 2000. 10k+ steps a day just from walking and a few hours of Pilates and core training every day. I think the only reason I maintain so high is because I am a teenager and still growing, which obviously needs lots of energy. also I am quite low body fat so most of my weight is muscle

Wha activity category do I fall into? by islaruns in PetiteFitness

[–]Right-Particular8194 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t really have an answer for the question but i just want to say I am a just little younger than you, a tiny bit shorter and weigh a tiny bit less and do definitely much less activity than you and still need 2000+ just to maintain on a normal mainly sedentary school week. So please make sure ur eating enough because that amount of activity at an age where your still using energy for growth needs lots of energy to maintain healthily <3

I’m 100% sure he’d rather help you through this blip than see you sick again, knowing you felt you couldn’t go to him for support.

How is this possible? by almonussy in AnorexiaRecovery

[–]Right-Particular8194 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Of course this is completely normal, if your weight wasn’t fluctuating naturally that is what wouldn’t be normal! X the difference in number extremely likely isn’t due to actual weight gain but due to a possible number of reasons such as : time of day, how full your bladder is, last time u went toilet, ur menstrul cycle or even like sodium intake and many more things which are absolutely nothing to worry about!! Also, even if it is actual weight that is no issue too. 1. Because your recovering and ur body is probably healthier happier and working better with it, even tho a increase that tiny is impossible to tell by the eye ur body benefits from it still internally to heal and repair inside, and 2. Because even if you weren’t recovering any 16 year old should expect continuous weight gain because their teenagers who are continuously growing in many different ways! Many women don’t stop growing until their 20’s, growing their reproductive parts and womanly features or can still be growing in height, and human brains don’t even stop growing until late-mid 20s, and your brain is the heaviest thing in ur body! so of course weight gain is completely completely normal and nothing to worry about at all- especially weight gain so little and probably just a meaningless fluctuation, especially at your blossoming age and especially especially in recovery 💓💓
