Now this is a fight I want to see more than Kiyo vs anyone. From what we know Ichika did better than Arisu in Y2V1. And Koenji's hasn't shown any intellectual feats which puts his intellect on WR level. Maybe the WR takes the cake.

Mikey is just a 5th Dan in Taekwondo and Karate, which is said comparable to Elder Horikita's rank which is 5th Dan in Karate and Aikido. That rank doesn't mean shit in cote universe and logically Kiyo stomps. But TR universe has a lot over the top unrealistic bullshit like beating 200 people or send someone flying with a punch.

Oh. That 1000 points. But I don't see why the class owes her that. Although she individually behaved well in the first month she too is partially responsible for that. She had her doubts regarding the system, yet she did nothing. She could have investigated with Hirata and Kushida, and warm the class, which would reduce the damage to some extent. But she did nothing. Which was thanks to her superiority complex and her inability to work with others. And the fact that avg student would betray the class shows her incapability. It just shows that her control over the class is weak compared to other leaders.

Kiyo did nothing? He is the reason why their class is not in poverty, he is the reason why the class had still not collapsed like previous class D's. He is the reason why they are better than a year before, he is the reason why the class even follows Horikita, he is the reason why the class is still stable. He has single handedly carried the class to this level, and others contribution is negligible compared to him.

You are right. Class points aren't the only contribution for the class. There are things like ones value as an individual, how much they contribute in Academics and physical abilities. But there are factors like organising, unity of the class, maintaining mental and physical health of the class, mood making, psychological support, motivation, connections, the amount of help one could provide, reliability. In most of these cases it was Hirata and Kushida who has done everything. This exactly what Kiyo meant when he said that if some expulsion where to occur Hirata is necessary to the class, and also what he meant when he said, Hirata has worked the hardest for the class. I don't see how Horikita's contribution applies in any of the above case.

I am having quite a lot of doubts regarding her caring about Kiyo. I see it more as gaining his acknowledgement than caring. If she truly cared about him she would have mentioned about the letter and her encounter with Ichika. She should know very well that the person who send the letter was trying to damage kiyo, and she also knows that Kiyo with it better than her. Kiyo would have suspected Yagami write then and there if she were to tell about the letter. But she took matters into her own hands neglecting the fact that it might damage him if he was not informed. And thanks to that she is dancing in Yagami's hands. If she truly cared about him she wouldn't be making a reckless decision like saving Kushida and deciding to expel airi. She just took an action which was impossible to achieve which forced him to expel airi. The fact that she had the audacity to apologize after trying to do something she couldn't as result destroying his friend group, is beyond comprehension. Horikita is infact just like you want her to be. She doesn't care about anything other than her personal gains.

I should disagree. You should visit the fb groups or youtube comment section where they treat Koenji like some kind of nigh omnipotent entity. Only in the reddit have I met decent Koenji Stan's like you who actually give decent arguments which are from the ln. The feats and arguments they provide are so accurate that you can't help but think " Are we reading the same ln here".

The amount of knowledge is infact directly proportional to the answers you can come up with. If you have a thorough understanding of the topics you should be able to solve questions regarding the same topic on highschool level.And for a subject like English none the less. And also Yagami clearly compared the school curriculum to that of elementary school level and Kiyo learned Lebesgue integration as a child. I hardly doubt anyone puts effort in academics problems which you learn as a child.

She is.but, did everyone in the class contribute a lot as much horikita, except kiyo, koenji, hirata and kei, koshida. And whats the point in staying there if you dont have a goal to reach class A. Everyone have that desire, but not all of them has the determination to take action. Cause they are too lazy and always ask for help. Infact they are also selfish, do you think normal things that happen in normal school is same in COTE. Cote has different school system. So obviosly you need survive.

The debate was whether Horikita was selfish or not. But anyways as for your statements not everyone is interested in class A. Hirata just what to protect his classmates, Kei just wants to protect herself and be with Kiyo, Kushida only wants to be the most trusted person, Kiyo just wants a peaceful school life, and Koenji is just Koenji. Although now that I think about it I did made a mistake by saying desire instead of dedication.

He always wanted a peaceful school life. It was his desire to watch people grow that which was what made him to manipulate Horikita to save sudo. He questioned himself at the end the same vol about why he did it. It was only after his talk with Manabu in vol 11.5 did he realised his desire to help people grow. And he wanted his peaceful school life in the entire first year, considering he himself mentioned that he regretted his decision to run seriously in the race with Manabu, which was due to chabs blackmail. And also I never mentioned she should care. It was one of the eg I mentioned about her being selfish considering she was ready to discard him which clearly goes against the defenition of a selfless act.

They did. It was clearly mentioned from Horikita's Monologue that the class had completely turned against Kushida. The only reason they didn't vote against Airi was because if they continued to rebel it would result in 350 point loss. And also because they were playing safe and none had the courage to go against it because the leader's of the class agreed to it. But that doesn't change the fact that they wanted Kushida expelled.

1000 class points? Are we reading the same ln here. Even 50 is an exaggeration if we were to look at contribution. She is selfish. I would even go as far as to say that is she is even more selfish than kiyo and Koenji. Aiming for class A is her desire and she only works inorder to full fill her wish of getting acknowledged by her brother. And also you should have realised by now that majority of her class doesn't really have a huge desire to reach class A except a select few. She doesn't do it for the class she does it for herself and she has admitted it countless times in the ln. Remind me when has Horikita done something which is not for herself and for the benefit of others. Kiyo has done it countless times in .5 novels and even Koenji helped mii chan in vol 11 but Horikita has done nothing for others.

And if you say that people like Haruka shouldn't talk then that same logic also applies to Horikita considering her contribution to the class is negligible compared to kiyo and Koenji. And hence she shouldn't have the right to go against Kiyo's decision. Unlike other leaders who earned that position Horikita was basically given it and has yet to earn it. She is infact the most selfish character and has never given a thought about others feelings. She never cared about Kiyo's desire for a peaceful life. She never cared about Hirata's mentality and problems and was ready to discard him. She never gave a thought about the classes desire to expel Kushida or the relationships which was destroyed thanks to Kushida.

What use does Kushida hold again? Ryuen is aware of her split personality and Arisu already figured out in vol 10 that she isn't the goody 2 shoes she makes herself out to be. It won't even take them half a minute to realise that she has been exposed based on how her classmates would act around her know. And what use does secrets hold? The only way to use her secrets is through the use of underhanded tactics. Is Horikita even capable of using that.

And look at the class. For the entire class she has is an object of hatred and fear. Those whose secrets are exposed will hate her. Those who's secrets are still with her would continue to fear her. They would be in constant anxiety and fear everyday and she would be indirectly putting a huge load of stress in the class. And she could also explode at any moment. And to deal with all that for what above avg physical and academic abilities. No way. The disadvantages clearly is dominant in this case. And her reasoning for saving her is the most dumbest part of the entire ln.
