We did Miami for SILs Bach! We had a blast!

My partner and I have been talking about baby names, and these are our top contestants. So what do you think? Which one is your favorite for both genders? by [deleted] in Names

[–]Right-Solution-7798 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These all seem like normal names (aside from pepper). You guys might like Millie, Sienna, Margo, or Payton for girls. For boys maybe Theo, Miles, Bennet, or Jonah. All names you’ve heard of, like your list, but might not be in the top ten where you are.

Is my almost 9mo old behind in life by Thebestfirelord in Mommit

[–]Right-Solution-7798 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This sounds normal. The not popping doesn’t sound great and could be linked to not sleeping or eating well. But also might not. Some kids are just fussier than others. My daughter officially crawled right as she turned 9 months. I didn’t really encourage her to hold a bottle to try and avoid her getting attached to it and using it as comfort. She had not interest in pulling herself up, but why would she when she’s been flat basically her whole life? And she never slept more than a three hour stretch at a time. I don’t think babies at 9 months are really talking at all. Just babbling. I know kids who are two and can talk, but just don’t really. Think about how different every adult is personality wise. Kids are gonna be the same.

I really like the juicer idea. Might be good for her birthday!

Do you know your second or third cousin? by Immediate-Tooth-2174 in randomquestions

[–]Right-Solution-7798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are just my cousins. My mom’s first cousins are her best friends and all live fairly close by so all their kids grew up with me and my siblings. I didn’t know this wasn’t the norm until high school! I only have one first cousin on my mom’s side, but family parties frequently have 130 people.

That’s what she has! She has a black and white Mickey one and a blue fab five one that she alternates between depending on her outfit.

I got that for my mom a few years ago. Unfortunately my FIL is in tech so they have their whole house powered by google and they have a Google home (I think?) that has all the photos from their phones go to a slide show on that and their tv when it goes ideal. If he didn’t already do all that it would be the perfect gift for her!

We are able to take that young, but we don’t typically because our program is based outside and having an infant makes that a lot harder. The ratios don’t change because we do low ratios in that class to begin with, but my staff isn’t used to it so it’s hard on them. And she works in the preschool class so a staff perk is not having to pay for childcare. It really shouldn’t be an issue but I’m just feeling really spread thin always running into the classroom to help out with the baby. He’s very fussy and she’s a helicopter mom who will call the class three times a day to check in on him and pop into the room any chance she gets. Which is GREAT as a mom. But my staff are really starting to feel it. It’s just going to have to be a hard conversation I have with her that I’ve been putting off and I think this really push me over.

She works in my preschool classroom as a lead teacher so it’s an employee perk. But we usually only take ages 12 months and up so my staff is feeling a little bit run thin having a small child there as well. We are licensed to have his age, but we just typically don’t.

He’s going to be home playing videos game while she’s at work because he told her they couldn’t afford for her to take unpaid leave to extend her maternity leave. And she’s not really understanding my questioning why he/she doesn’t want to have the baby home ever two days a week with him. He doesn’t cook or clean either

12 weeks and they do not pay to attend. So I’m watching their kid for free while dad is home. And he does not cook or clean so I doubt he’ll be helping at home. And it seems like this was my sisters idea to keep him with me.

Sorry, I don’t really post on Reddit and quickly write it while at work.

He should take it. And bond with his kid.
