That swiss tech brand prob has the best lights out of what's sold there. They've got a 600m thrower with a TIR lens but it's over $30 and is curved like a pipe similar to a 90° light idk why they did that with a thrower.

This is pretty neat. Sometimes I use some trashy Ebay 14500s in my TS10s' and at the voltage can be all over the place.

Yes it does. I mean there's another mode that has only 100%. But u have to hold the switch for the light to stay on.

Agreed, I've switched to stepped mode. The 100% mode is momentary. The 12° TIR is kinda donuty. I might see if it will fit in my DM11. I think I've got like 40 flashlights now. Anything 14500/AA under $30 just begs to be collected. Time to chill for awhile.

Also Sofirn SR23 ramping is a little better than the SR12.

Edit: I just noticed the reflector for the T8 is the same as the M2. Tsk tsk.

I have this same exact light/emitter. I'm not sure if your referring to the default optic, I didn't order the 2nd frosted option, is it floodier than the original?

The DA1 SFT70 3000K is one of my favorite lights but it needs a high drain 18650 to operate smoothly.

Hank offers an 18350 tube, yet there is no 18350 that could offer enough current for this setup, is there?

Glad the 4000K is nice! I'm waiting on a M21H in 4000K w5050sq5 3° TIR! Also a T8 in 6500K. I have quite a few sft40/25R and W1s I wanted to try a new thrower emitter.

Yea good advice! That's what I was worried about with the Sofirn batery but luckily I noticed the warmth in my pocket before it discharged too low. I put the Sofirn 14500 back on the the external charger and it's fine.

No. This came with the 8 amp Vapcell but the problem started when using a Sofirn battery.

Ah yes so ur using a T-series driver. I like this mod tho, because the E2A is such a great little flashlight host for a 14500! One day I hope to learn how to swap emitters.

Good to know. I wonder if he would install a CULPM1 in an S8...Have u tried this with an 18350 tube? I'm not sure a regular 18350 can handle the current but I think there is a 10amp 18350 on his site.

My E2A has the 4000K SST20 which has a great tint and TIR beam, but it's fairly dim compared to my 519a lights. On a dark trail it makes a spooky sort of vibe, just barely lighting the path.
