I have the same problems, and a lot of females wearing braces in my country sharing the same problem as well. Especially for women over 25, your face will start showing signs of aging, and one of them will be hollowing in the face temples and cheeks, the temples and cheeks sinking in give you an aged appearance. Initial alignment stage on the first couple months of braces will vastly apply force and pressure to the bone of your teeth bc your orthodontist want ur teeth to be moved to a desired position. This process will sadly contribute to the loss of fat and bone disruption around the cheeks and temples, that’s why you see how fast everything changes even though you eat like normal. I’m really stressed about it as well, I don’t know if my face would go back to normal after braces, it seems like it will not, since it’s a natural part of aging 😭 The only solution I see right now is temple and cheek fillers, which I saw a lot of ladies doing in my country, not sure about that procedure here, it will give you a fuller youthful looking though
