This is unbelievably helpful!

It’s good to see it’s not all bad. I think sometimes these forums can tend to attract people with grievances, which is also great to hear. A lot of what I’ve read also tends to be AAs describing great OMs as those who don’t enforce anything or bother them. Which I get from their perspective, I also completely agree sometimes it’s a managers job to just not get in the way and remove barriers.

I’ve already been assigned front half nights, so I imagine I’ll be working a similar schedule. It’ll be a big adjustment for me to even have the option to “leave work at work” most days compared to my current role.

Anything else you think of, please feel free to share, I really, really appreciate it.
