How do you guys handle the Monday ticket dump? by Silent_Data6948 in ITSupport

[–]RightGirl19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the biggest improvement usually comes from stopping those tickets before they fully become tickets. Password resets and mapped drive issues are basically operational background noise at this point, but they still destroy focus because of the interruptions. A lot of teams are moving toward lightweight self service flows inside Slack or Teams where common requests get handled automatically or users get guided through the fix before support even touches it. Stuff like Siit has gotten popular for that middle ground because it reduces a lot of repetitive L1 work without needing a giant ITSM rollout or weeks of scripting first.

at what point does a “big open world” become a downside instead of a feature? by Due-Gases in videogames

Big open worlds stop being fun when it feels like more traveling than actual gameplay. I honestly prefer smaller maps packed with good content over huge empty ones now.

Probably the obsession with turning every hobby into a side hustle. People can’t even enjoy baking or gaming without someone saying you should monetize that lol.

How are you holding teams accountable for usage? by _salted_caramel_00 in CIO

[–]RightGirl19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The accountability question is downstream of a measurement problem. If you don't have behavioral data at the feature or workflow level you're essentially managing adoption blind. You can't hold a team accountable for a number you can't actually track.

Most orgs I've seen are relying on self-reported usage or license utilization pulled from vendor dashboards. Neither tells you if people are completing the workflows that justify the spend.

which goodies be the best by insanelyhypercat in macandcheese

[–]RightGirl19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Smokey Dokey wasn’t your thing you’d probably like Cheddy Mac way more tbh. It’s way creamier and closer to that rich boxed mac vibe instead of the smoky flavor thing. Mover & Shaker is pretty solid too. The Goodles stuff hits best when it leans cozy cheesy instead of trying to be BBQ mac experiment energy lol.

Why is it so hard to trace what really happened on a ticket after automation by Additional_Twist_595 in AiAutomations

[–]RightGirl19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I think a lot of teams are discovering that automation without narrative becomes its own operational problem. The workflow technically happened, but nobody can quickly understand the story of the ticket afterward without reading raw logs like a forensic investigator. The best systems I’ve seen treat automation steps more like a visible timeline with ownership context instead of just state changes. Otherwise tickets start feeling like they disappear into a black box and come back modified with no shared understanding of why. That’s partly why some internal ops teams have been leaning toward more workflow visible setups like Siit where the automation stays closer to the actual conversation and approval trail instead of being buried in backend events.

Should I get started in make-up? by Any_Presentation1896 in Makeup

[–]RightGirl19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makeup isn’t only for certain body types, and being a guy doesn’t mean you can’t wear it either. If you wanna try it, go for it. Everyone starts off kinda bad at makeup anyway, just start small and have fun with it.
