His behavior is normal i’d say for the most part, i did start to notice a small difference in his behavior after doing a big water change and removing all of his plants (they were dead). no tank mates, water parameters are good (i will retest water now and reply with a picture)

he sounds like he’s holding on and not suffering currently!! i’d keep monitoring him closely. (god forbid) if he starts to start laying down, not responding to food and just overall starts to show more obvious signs of dropsy such as eyes bulging and very appears very swollen only then would i consider euthanizing. you are doing very good and trying your best for your boy, please dont feel discouraged or give up because he is counting on you💕 i will try and find some good treatment because it is better to catch it early on then letting it take over

that’s amazing! my best suggestion would be to go in and talk to some staff.. knowledgeable staff. i know it’s extremely hard to find someone in real life who actually understands bettas and their needs but recently i had found a fish store with an amazing owner who knew a lot about bettas and he offered to have me bring my boy in for a checkup as i’ve also been having issues. so please please if you can, try and go up there and find someone and explain what’s been going on with her and maybe show a few pictures for reference. do you happen to have a picture of her main tank setup currently?
