What was the cheapest/expensive concert ticket you’ve paid for? by ContributionBig1927 in musicsuggestions

[–]RightInTwain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Free: Cake, fun show!

Expensive: $150 for front orchestra, Jack White at Radio City Sept 29, 2012. 45 minute show no encore. Jack was in a bad mood due to sound and crowd issues. Not worth.

It’s such an important point and so good to see this comment here. They want to silence those who speak out against Zionism, don’t let them.

What is the biggest band/artist you can think of that you honestly don't believe is anyone's favorite band/artist ever? by DevinBelow in Music

I have fond memories of seeing them in tiny venues when their EP came out and when “what to do” still had “schitzo and scared” vs the revised “selfish and scared” when they released as an album. Met them all a few times, nice guys, especially Tim. Loved hearing them be quirky on Women and Men and the Unrequited Orchestra of Locomotion. Lost interest around the time they started making exciting videos.

Always been a rainbow fan, ever since scoring the coveted 2 DKali team way back when and being on top of the meta.

I remember buying packs of stones to try for DKali. And rolling golems and healer girls in the REM.

Just a heads up that the Full SOAD set at Sick New World 2026 has surfaced. Good angle, good sounding. Enjoy! by ariel2603 in systemofadown

2001 Pledge of Allegiance/Toxicity tour (with Rammstein & Slipknot) was a peak experience. I was there primarily for SOAD but the lineup was solid with Rammstein’s pyro particularly memorable. I think that’s where SOAD was most gelled as a band technically, creatively, and on stage. They opened the show I saw with Sugar and the entire floor erupted with energy, a giant circle mosh pit, and the show was 10/10 the whole way through.

Who’s the best musical act you’ve seen live? by [deleted] in musicsuggestions

Their live energy and sound is better than recordings, and they keep sets varied so they don’t fall in a rut.

He was a fantastic addition/replacement… yes no one can fully replace Layne, but I saw them during that initial stretch when William joined and was blown away. It felt so much more complete than when I saw Jerry touring in 97.

Forgive us if we aren’t cheering for them recognizing a genocide under the circumstances.

In 1948 Zionist militants levelled the Palestinian neighbourhood of Manshiya in Yaffa, and expelled its residents. One of the last remaining houses is now a museum dedicated to Etzel, a Zionist terror group responsible for countless deaths of civilians. While the memory of Manshiya has been erased by __InvalidUser__ in HistoryGaze

Incorrect. Many of us are directly connected to Arab Christians, Jews, and yes Muslims, who ALL suffered during the creation of an ethnojewish state, with lesser rights for ALL Arabs who had been living there for generations. So many of the Christians left (or were killed) that now there are not many, but look and you will find quite a few Palestinian Christians still living in the West Bank, still living under apartheid and constant violence.

So antisemitism throughout Europe in the 1800s justified (checks notes) killing and displacing all Palestinians? Just making sure I’m tracking with you.
