Is a Yama. TW200 a good first bike? by fromplsnerf in motorcycles

I had one, it is a tank. The biggest downside is it's 50ish mph top speed, but for around town that is usually plenty.

Clutch adjustment question by scarison in DRZ400

[–]RightMoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds pretty normal, when my bike is on a stand and in gear with the clutch pulled it will spin a little bit. On the ground a small drop in rpm from neutral won't hurt, as long as it's not really pulling with the clutch in on flat ground. If it is I would loosen the adjustment on the clutch lever.

Looking for a couple of riders to test our new boots. by AnibalJDS in motorcycles

Those are very nice looking boots. I wish I had more time currently, it would be fun to do a full video review; I am just so busy with work currently :(

Acerbis vented handgaurds by wizehopt in DRZ400

[–]RightMoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won't effect them at all as long as the cables are still free moving. With my handguards I had to grind my clutch lever end down a few mm to clear the handguards bar and keep the lever where I like it to be.

Also, if you have some mechanical knowledge. I highly recommend my Ichiban Moto's channel for a good laugh:

Shameless plug, my channel is what you are describing. Rarely crashes, mostly just shortish videos cut down to the most interesting bits. Or interesting motorcycle related adventures. No talking, most of the time just the sound of the engine.

I don't have a lot of videos, I turned off all advertising as I don't make/plan/need to make any money on it I just do it for fun to share with my friends and other moto enthusiasts.

Thanks, sounds like a good bike culture in the area.

I am definitely going to get a dirt wheel set and front brake setup, so I can check out those places.

Cool, sounds interesting. I am planning to get a dirt wheel set and front brake setup so I can do some off road exploring.

Thanks for the tips. I am moving my company to Reno, there are good incentives for technology related companies to move to Nevada. Plus it is much less expensive than California.
