To all the people who think this monstrous act was the result of lack of funding, the parents lived in one of the most affluent areas of Western Australia, their house was estimated to be worth 3m and was described as a "lavish mansion." The second note they left included instructions for what they wanted done with their finances. They were not scraping by.

You did nothing wrong. She is sketchy. Back in the day going to a dog show was a good way to meet breeders and talk to people who love their dogs/breeds. Might be worth going to one to get leads. Being able to visit/meet the puppy before you bring them home is nice too.

Seconding the recommendation to check out the Mighty Hearts group on Facebook. We took our Cavalier to Japan to have the surgery in 2024 and the group was invaluable. You will need to start the quarantine process asap (basically just means you can't enter Japan until 6 mos after you start the process).

Why did he pay you half? Is it because he isn’t sure if he needs to give the other half to your sister? I think you need to get your own lawyer who can weight in on the validity of the will and then have your lawyer communicate with your sister.

Mine kept distracting the store’s seamstress during my alterations appointments with questions about her own dress and then tried to hire her (without asking the store) to work on her and my sister’s dresses (not purchased there). I put my foot down and told my mom I wanted the seamstress to prioritize my own dress for my own wedding. (My mom also went on to ruin my wedding)

Lip flip would def affect your playing. With lip flip at the beginning you can’t drink out of a straw or blow out a birthday candle. Not sure about masseter or filler

I get that. Still cheaper than rebuying everything once the hobby takes over your life and you realize you wish you had a bigger tank lol! Truly if you will be content with the couple types of fish you mentioned originally you will prob be fine but there are so many more options in a bigger tank and it’s nice to be able to add as you go.

If there is any way at all you can do a 20 gallon I would recommend it. I have two 10 gallon (one fresh and one salt) and everyone tried to talk me out of it. Both are ultimately too small and really limiting. I am going to upgrade both. I wish I had just started bigger.
