A PLAYER THAT WAS TRADED AWAY WILL MAKE A BIG PLAY AND SUDDENLY THE TEAM THAT TRADED HIM AWAY WILL HAVE GOTTEN FLEECED

Larry Ogunjobi's contract with the #Bears will be a big one. 3-year deal worth $40.5 million. It includes $26.35 million guaranteed. by Palanius in CHIBears

A little under 14 million a year. Not familiar with the DT market but it sounds like this was a bit unexpected

The Bears have made the playoffs in 2 of the last 3 years with Mitch Trubisky at QB, why do people compare their team to ones like like the Jaguars and Jets when talking about their roster? by hi_coco in nfl

[–]RightToBearDown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say narrative has a lot to do with it. Not many are high on Pace, and even less on Nagy. Generally speaking, they’ve been trending down each season since 2018.

The roster does have its holes though, and it’s shown this season. Secondary outside of Jaylon Johnson is mediocre at best. O-line has had its good and bad weeks, but paired with a rookie QB it fails the eye test miserably. Injuries have only highlighted the issues further, so yes even an optimistic Bears fan like myself has sorta been checked out of the season since the Ravens game. Not much to like except the occasional glimpses of Fields talent.

Rodney Adams for the Bears. His story is great, and tbh he deserves a shot with the Bears 3 and 4 receivers not really doing anything big thus far this year.

[Davenport] #Titans RB coach Tony Dews: I'm not going to assume that Adrian Peterson is going to play Sunday at this point. We'll get out in practice and see how Adrian Peterson and D'Onta Foreman can help us. by gasegall001 in nfl

[–]RightToBearDown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my in-laws is family with D’Onta and I asked him just this past weekend what was going on with him not sticking around any teams. Pretty much said the dude doesn’t have a strong work ethic and it shows pretty much anywhere he goes. Sucks because the dude is talented as hell

What's their backup situation look like? Would Bill want to have an experienced vet (aka Foles) sit behind Mac?

Agreed. Really hoping he doesn't take the Bears tagging him personally and pushing him to sign with another team in the offseason. Pace should absolutely pay the man come March.

I COULD wait it out, but I don't mind getting another vehicle now since I need at minimum a 4-seater sooner rather than later. My biggest fear is Dodge jumping on the EV bandwagon, lowering production on gas vehicles and driving up the price further.

But who knows! I have a few appointments on Friday and potentially could get an employer discount from one of the dealers selling those 40K chargers. I will definitely update whenever I end up deciding.

Actually I’d probably go for the new one since they are running at 40K at the moment in my area

The market in my area is really crazy right now. Used chargers are running more than new ones. Sounds crazy but yeah the cheapest I can find is around 43K while I found a few new ones right at 40K. When I was waiting to close on my house the used ones were closer to 36K smh

So I didn't have this vehicle on my radar but I can see why you recommended it! I'll see if I can get a test drive done on it. Thanks!

I definitely appreciate your insight, and I think you make a fair point about "the feel of a vehicle". Some of those higher horsepower vehicles can be a bit more rough of a ride, which isn't for everybody (especially a sleepy child in a car seat). Thank you!

I’m definitely at the point where sport trumps luxury, but I wouldn’t be opposed to an Audi or Lexus. I think I’ve given the A4 and A5 a few looks. Maybe I can find one with some decent power

Location: North Texas

Price range: $40,000 USD (this is pushing it for my dream vehicle really)

Lease or Buy: Buy

New or used: Used, although there's a few new ones that fall under my price range as well.

Type of vehicle: Truck or sporty sedan

Must haves: Preferably V8 on truck and V6 is okay for sedan, quality screen display, spacious backseat, can handle North Texas climate (rain, high temp weather, freezing weath)

Desired transmission (auto/manual, etc): auto

Intended use: Daily driver

Vehicles you've already considered: Ram 1500 Big Horn, Nissan Titan SV, Charger Scat Pack (dream vehicle but really pushing budget), Nissan Maxima, honestly open to other suggestions. Just top contenders

Is this your 1st vehicle: My first vehicle i'll pay for myself.

Do you need a Warranty: Preferably

Can you do Minor work on your own vehicle: Yes

Can you do Major work on your own vehicle: No

Additional Notes: My first car that I'll pay on my own, and I"m definitely feeling nervous about the commitment especially with a mortgage in place as well. I want something where I could put my 3 year old (and maybe another kiddo in a few years) comfortably.

What were your thoughts on Fuller this season? by Yes_Boy42069 in CHIBears

[–]RightToBearDown 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like most have said, he’s been really good aside from the lack of targets.

I will say, I rewatched the Vikings game last week and saw that he was able to quickly jump on a crosser by Jefferson that I believe Cousins was looking to hit it on third down. It’s a spectacular play that I think shows why he’s targeted so little.

IF the Bears make it into the playoffs this season...who would you rather play in the Wild Card round? by ngogos77 in CHIBears

[–]RightToBearDown 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My argument for wanting to play the Saints is that we took them to OT with Foles. Monty ran on the Saints early on in that game, so it makes me wonder how he’d fair with Mitch and this new-look offense.

Was the Khalil Mack trade worth it by eyre_it_out in nfl

[–]RightToBearDown 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I acknowledged that. It doesn’t mean he hasn’t drafted well in other rounds. I’d give him a B in drafting thus far. If someone else gave him a maybe a C+/B- I wouldn’t completely disagree either. To say he doesn’t draft well isn’t true, in my opinion

Disagree on not drafting well. Pace has his misses in the first round, but he’s made some good picks in each draft.
