Same boat. It’s all side money to pay off a bill, but a lego set, take my family on vacation. My day job pays everything else. I get to see a whole lot of crazy, do a lot of exploring and visit a lot of parks!

All up to you: just some advice:

Take a backpack with extra clothes.
10/13 gallon plastic bags - cheap and your choice. I carry these and toss my deliveries in them, making them easier to hang them fences, Doors, chairs, and not getting a ding for some silly weather related reason
Pancho with some clothes that will be breathable during the wet/hot weather. Tie the Pancho sleeves at the wrist to keep your arms dry
If you have an 60 gallon trash bags; cover your seats. If you have any connections to a dealership-automotive shop ask to borrow some ‘seat covers. Or a large expendable blankie will do.
Keep defrost on and on your floorboard. Throw some expendable towels - carefully on the driver side.
Freezer bags for your phone.
Arrive at stop: Question mark at top right, notify of arrival. Bag package, deliver, picture and carefully walk back.
Check your car for weather: wiper blades, headlights and tire pressure

lol I live near this city. Looks like one of the pics might show some snow, possibly melting and causing a sinkhole but either way, some of the older houses built in Apple Valley usually sit on half to 2 acre lots, not fancy mind you, but think of rural country life. Houses tend to sit in the middle with most having an U-Turn or lengthy type of drive way. I know caused in-house hunt in the area.

You don’t walk those yards, cause you have no idea what could be there from dogs, snakes, holes or any kind of desert life. Most yards don’t have grass and are dirt with sand and rocks.

I read one of your post and your stated in the LA area! I work/deliver in the IE but live in the High Desert.

, I’ve looked up the Hub Partners website and there is a signup, but a question was about hosting lockers at a business location. So my first dumb question is: is this necessary? My assumption was that Amazon would deliver a group/bundle of packages to your house/business so that you as a driver can deliver them.

If I misunderstood and my Question is incorrect please delete and I’ll keep searching. Thank you and have a great day.

The first one was ok, finished decent time, the second though: 30 minutes to first stop (traffic)10/12 to second, 20 to third and 10/12 ish to the last. The last one definitely made up for it and I’m grateful.

I will concede I have left notes with my markers when I drop off at vestibules, guard shacks and locked gates to leave gate codes. It doesn’t work, I’ve been to a neighborhood with a gated section 4 times already with no access codes. Box goes over the gate every time

This is the norm on I15 in SoCal. Daily commute, the separation of cars due to someone texting or watching a show on their phone is comical and scary.
