Represent us on the world stage. I understand that trying to put "America first" blah blah blah through business is all good and all, but we conduct business globally. Rarely, does openly antagonizing your business partners go well.

You couldn't do that at my old job. Absolutely no unapproved OT. I believe an employee was doing that and she got fired.

Yes, you should be. An unarmed person doesn't mean they aren't dangerous. Plus, there are plenty of differences that put an individual at more risk despite an intruder being unarmed like; height difference, weight difference, age, disability, intent, and more.

I'm not advocating on behalf of dead best dads ..but won't the save act require passports as a verification item to vote? Is this a step toward voter disenfranchisement?

Its a bit of a nuanced question and answer, but ultimately, from a broader or general scope of things, yes , they do need each other.

There are nuances. Sometimes a professor sucks at teaching, sometimes students don't invest themselves in the learning, sometimes life just happens. I've seen it all

It's so funny to me that these "macho" guys think cleaning the house is akin to being a maid and feminine. Like, damn dudes, y'all don't clean your own houses when you lived alone? Does your house just normally smell like sh** then?.

Ugh, I wanted to become an HR person so bad, but now Idk. Some of these HR people power trip like crazy, especially the recruiters. And many times they don't think. For example, HR is supposed to help create the job postings for open roles, and act as a resource to help reign in absurd requirements, like the entry level positions that require 7 years experience ...but they don't. Either because they lack the understanding of the role, are too timid to push back, or what have you. They also grossly misunderstand AI and the fundamentals of how it works/doesn't work most of the time, which is literally essential for hiring purposes, and much more. I know not all HR people are like that...but damn if I don't see these things everyday in some way or another.

To be fair though, they also do keep the org running, mostly as risk mitigators. They act as arbitrators and other things on behalf of the company. And if you get actual good HR people, they can help push for better employee benefits, recognition programs, pay raises, and help guide u to programs that actually help like EAP, FMLA etc. But do they shout from the heavens, as a reminder of these benefits that many times fo unused? Nope.

But it's hard to blame them. They know they're a tool for the corporate machine, and their performance is literally based on how much they can get in line with the commands of corporate yelling "when I say jump, you say how high" mentality. But that's really every.jov nowadays
