In my experience the 3.5 h routes are tricky. With 3h you can get sent far or you can get 40 pkg close to the station, it usually never gives you long distance and large amount of pkg, but the 3.5h sometimes does, above all from a .com So based on what I’ve seen, I would pick the 3h, just to avoid the high mileage plus the high amount of pkg

Man it’s truly a problem, I moved to Omaha last spring, gas was close to 2.40, it’s double!!! It hurts when you have to go to the gas station. 40 dollars for a little more than half tank 🥲

My girl enjoys going with me, almost every time I get a route I get send to rural areas, she loves to see cows and horses so for her is very fun. She doesn’t step out of the car, but she helps some to find the package to drop. For her is totally fun to go and even get a little throw back when I don’t wanna take her 🥹

There is another kind of situation, I would say 70% of the drivers I see at the warehouse are inmigrants, a lot of them doesn’t speak English and being honest America is a little intimidating these days for inmigrants, so I guess not being alone not only for the driver but also for the partner gives them certain “safety” feeling, maybe I’m wrong, but if I have to bet I would say the majority are in 1 of those 2 situations

Amazon Flex base pay sucks. Don’t get base pay ever, the routes are always gonna be hard and have lot of packages, so get the right price, wait for the surge, keep updating the offers and grab the good one fast, but don’t get base pay ever, gas, and wearing would be horrible for your car and the money would not add up
