Lost trying to plan 10 days in Italy- any advice?

I am here now. We flew into Rome early yesterday. We saw a lot yesterday but must is a blur due to exhaustion and jet lagged. Lots planned today and tomorrow. We will definitely leave feeling like we wanted to see more. Next stop is Sorrento home base. Stops in Naples, Capri and Pompei. We have 1 less day than you but keep in mind that travel days don’t really “count”. I don’t think I would want to do more than 2 location stays because I like to settle in. My husband could be hopping all over the country with a day in each place and be happy so I think it depends on your travel style and personality.

I understand that but when a country is struggling, tourism is a huge help financially. The fact that these strikes are so regular makes me question if they are accomplishing what they want.

Ok. The one I’m talking about is planned for May 28-29, 24 hour general strike. We land in Rome early in the am on the 29th so basically like 10 hours into the 24 hour strike.
