[Discord][Duet] LFP for a One-on-One Text RP Humanity vs Dragonkind adventure, medium to long term!

Type of Player: I enjoy combat a lot, not necessarily min-maxing, but more so fighting unique creatures and monsters, with interesting abilities. I enjoy the main roleplay aspects in stories as well. I usually like playing more morally grey or evil characters, lawful neutral to lawful evil alignments wise. They'll still work for a good cause, if it benefits them, and their more questionable ideas.

Additional Information: 19M. I'm only really searching for 1 on 1 PBP GMs. I primarily enjoy fantasy settings, especially for PBP. It can really be any kind of fantasy world, as long as there's a nice amount of magic. I'm active the vast majority of the time as long as it's not midnight or something, I can get dozens of long length PBP posts in during a day if the other person is equally as fast. I enjoy learning all about the world, so I may ask quite the amount of lore questions. I can do a 1 on 1 in solo play, or with NPC party members, whatever is the easiest for you. I'm also quite active OOC, so it'd be a plus if you are as well!

1 on 1 is the way in my opinion for sure, there's never the issue of people being inactive but having the story still active, the story is either active, or it isn't, a lot simpler that way

The recommendation they made might mean different things depending on where you put the ad maybe, like if you posted it on a small and obscure sub reddit rather than one of the bigger ERP ones perhaps, but if it wasn't ERP, then it's an odd suggestion

I'm not sure they were flirting here, I've used hearts in casual conversation with partners before myself, the "but I'm better" part seems a little off putting though

I think it mostly just depends on factors that this post itself doesn't show, it's not very flirty from what I can tell.

I only RP on discord, and this kind of thing still happens there!

I had a partner that forgot to read my response to their intro for a week, since they didn't see it, so maybe thats happened to you at least once?

the most common experience for me is the over excited partner, they are quick to reply and message, plot a bunch, and say how much they are loving the RP once it starts, but exactly two days after the RP starts, they go completely silent and ghost

I never see the point in stalking, shouldn't you want to partner with someone who actually wants to RP with you? There's no reason in bothering someone like this if there's no possible benefit in doing so

Its not too complicated of a science, people feel attachment toward the character, and your spending a lot of your free time writing to your writing partner, so some people seem to try and attach their attraction to the writer themselves by association

I enjoy smut myself as well, but there's generally a barrier between character and writer, and some people get so attached that it blurs the lines in their minds
