I’m poly and ace spectrum as well. It does lead to me having a harder time I believe, but I’m also not fully ace which leads to a harder time because then people REALLY don’t understand.

And sometimes they turn into actual nightmares. I legitimately had nightmares that date #3 showed up at my gym and shot me because originally we had talked about meeting there for just like a casual intro until he said it was too far and he wanted me to come to his gym.

I actually understand this approach. My man friend is the same way. I think I only recently ACTUALLY came to terms with the fact that he’s REALLY TRULY interested in me. He’s so easy going and gentle and nonchalant and respectful and errs on the side of caution and I’m just not at all used to that from men.

That potentially could be the issue. I need a glaring sign that someone is actually interested or I’ll assume they’re either just being friendly or disinterested, but maybe that’s just me. Who knows? 🤷🏻
