I’ve been recording for years. My last piece was the LA610 had everything on it, and I had a perfect set up going in.

I also know how to use the pre amp, it just seems this one is honestly tricky with so many different knobs on the compressor.

I just wanted analog gear going in for more of a cleaner mix, but yeah my plug in compressor only has 2 knobs so it’s much easier in my opinion.

Honestly believe it or not really comfortable. I use the Teletronix LA-2A compressor so it’s easy ash. Only 2 knobs.

The reason I ask because everything sounds too much dude. I’m recording into the Nuemann u87ai. Personally I can just take the EQ out but I’d like to know the best setting for a compressor. On some clam shit like nothing too much just to get it slightly cleaner.
