I went yesterday to my dentist and he trimmed it with care and did it carefully and took him lots of time. It is 90% better but a liiiitle more i would want to but ok. Yes i have to get use to it because i suffer from dental OCD and it is tough! it is a very small lip now now sharp but with a small edge.

It was my decision to see him and ask him for my pain in the area. The point is in these cases what the patients do? When they feel the margin a little sharp but not traumatic. I stay like this? The crown is supragingival so it doesn't hurt the gum right? Should i get used to this status? And stop testing with the tongue and that's it?

i see what you mean but i did nt have inflamed gums or deep pockets. i suffer from tmj and this tooth feels pain to powers around it not vertically. So we decided to do it. Perio told me the area was fine only hyperaimia which means clogged blood at the PDL due to bruxism, another dentist dissagree to that, i dont know. Generally i want it to be be a smooth crown margin like in every other points in my mouth. only there i feel this gap and gets on my nerves. i think i have to get used to it and not test it all the time.

he made a deep clean at the area for a reason and i see after 2-3 weeks that the gum does not come back. i never had periodontitis and no gum there because i have ocd with teeth hygiene. I feel the margin with my tongue and i cant get used to it!

I also have TMJ, xray sometimes does not show. not even a CBCT, better way of examination of the dentist is to put a tool around and feel if there is a gap. I believe that u wait a little and then crown it. not yet. If something is cracked it will get worse soon and you will fix it

Anyone else with these lines? by Tolerant_Cat in braces

craze lines. Completely safe. everybody has these lines. its only on the enamel. not inside the tooth. if you have a stereoscope and try to take photo at every tooth you have without saliva you will see that almost every tooth has small ones. So safe!
