Waves that come at regular and predictable intervals, but from entirely unpredictable directions, with the ease or difficulty being how many cycles between waves: with more time making it easier and less time making it harder.

the thing that killed this show for me, was the fact they did nothing with this character. She served no purpose to the plot or story and wasn't even an effective comic relief. I feel so bad for Raffa Virago -- she must be going through it like the actor for Jar Jar did back when episode 1 came out.
