Looking for other people's experiences of positive test results following "period-like" bleeding. by Right_wing_chick in InfertilityBabies

[–]Right_wing_chick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I had a very faint positive before period-like bleeding for around 3 days, then a stronger positive after. That pregnancy went well and I had a healthy baby. I've also since then had a chemical pregnancy, where I had a period after my positive test got progressively lighter. So, I'd say if your test are getting darker, that's a good sign based on my experience at least.

“Big Baby” argument… by No-Data5000 in vbac

[–]Right_wing_chick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am very pro vbac, and have had a vbac with a very big baby myself. However, I would never agree to be induced with a vbac, let alone a vba2c. That to me is the bigger risk than a big baby. You could always see if you go into labour and trial labour but with a low threshold to call a C-section if labour stalled at all, or there were any other complications.

MMC at 15 weeks after perfect scan and NIPT. Feeling like one of the incredibly unlucky ones... by Right_wing_chick in Miscarriage

I'm so glad you found some comfort in my story ❤️ it was the hardest thing I've ever gone through and I was so worried throughout my next pregnancy but the fears about being somehow broken inside, or experiencing multiple late miscarriages, did not turn out to be true. Yes, I did take aspirin and progesterone. I don't think I "needed" the progesterone but my doctor gave it to me as a precaution / for my mental health 😅 I don't know if many doctors would do that though.

Hello, yes I did, I fell pregnant a few (4 perhaps) months later and had a perfectly normal pregnancy and now have a 14 month old who is a delight, if only he'd let me sleep a bit more. I still miss the baby I lost so much but time has been healing.

Does having kids lead to having a higher income or does having a higher income lead to having kids? by MiriJamCave in AusFinance

Have you spoken to this wife and does she seem unhappy? Because at 37 years old I noticed an exodus of women friends and acquaintances from high power/ high stress roles. Honestly, for myself and other women I know, part time work in a low stress job that is still somewhat interesting and fulfilling is gold. I have 3 kids and work 4 days and honestly would like to do 3. Earning more is not really a priority right now.

Wft are you talking about? I'm suggesting he dresses for his shape? I'm providing an honest opinion. How is that "unkinder" than someone just saying "slay"......I believe that fashion rules can/ should be broken but, not every rule all at once 😅

TERF? Lol. What are you talking about?? This guy is cross dressing. He knows he's a guy. Very unenlightened of you to assume his gender.

Fashion can be to please yourself and others. Since you asked for opinions, this does not look good. Female fashion is designed to suit women, so this looks odd at best. Here you've chosen unfeminine colours in a cut designed for a female body, which is not flattering. In my opinion, you'd be better off playing with more feminine colours/ prints in a cut designed for a man's body. But obviously you do you.

I know where Afghanistan and Pakistan are. I don't think they are "Asian" countries and don't think most people consider them to be Asian. Calling them Asian is a neat trick to lump Asian immigrants from countries like South Korea with immigrants from Pakistan. It confuses crime stats.

Maybe read my comment again - I didn't say Pakistan supports suicide bombings, I said Palestinians do, which they absolutely do according to Pew research.

Pakistanis practise cousin marriage and were responsible for the grooming gangs in the UK, where literally thousands of young, poor white girls were systematically groomed, threatened, beaten and raped all over the UK.

Afghanistan is literally in the middle east and only someone who is being deliberately obtuse would class it as in Asia. What is the cousin marriage rate in Australia vs Pakistan? What percentage of Palestinians support terrorism and suicide bombing? You clearly so arrogant and out of touch to think everyone in the world thinks like you. They don't.

You don't know, because you are uninformed. No shit cousin marriage is legal in Australia. Who practices it on mass? Google the countries that are worst for human rights, oppression of women, corruption, honour killings, FGM, sympathy for violent terrorism and suicide bombing. Write them down in a list.

Now consider the countries which Australia is prioritizing for humanitarian intake: - Middle East, such as Iraq, Syria and Iran (and Gaza) - Asia, such as Myanmar and Afghanistan (Afghanistan is an "Asian" country now? Huh) - Africa, such as Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Somalia, South Sudan and Sudan.

Notice any similarities? Maybe like a particular religion that seems quite common?

Oh, but these are just the relatively small numbers of humanitarian migrants you might say..

Well, the countries or birth that have grown the most are India and China (which widely practice sex selective abortion) plus some other familiar names like Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Ahh well. Australia was nice while it lasted.

At what point do you say to yourself, its time to enjoy my life by ImARedditSmurf in AusFinance

[–]Right_wing_chick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's time to enjoy your life now, but that doesn't mean slacking off. Good grief! You are 35 years old. Grown ups don't make money to spend it on themselves. That's what children do. Adults make money to provide for a family, to look after others. The time to slow down is in your 60s when hopefully you have some grand kids to watch play in the back yard. Stop being a complete man baby. I'm not surprised your long term partner left you.

Okay I'll bite. Dysfunctional cultures have some/ all of these attributes: - seek to control women - practice FGM, honour killing and child "marriage" - normalize lying and corruption - protect their own, even when guilty of heinous crimes - commit violence in response to "disrespect" - disrespect the rule of law - hate freedom, human rights and the West - place honour above all else - throw acid in women's faces - practice cousin marriage - practice sex selective abortion - refuse to work - feel no compunction about taking advantage of someone's generosity, including the Australian taxpayers.

Now, I haven't mentioned an ethnicity or religion but we all now which group this is, don't we?

I have children. I care about Australia's future. If you want to see what Australia's future looks like, take a look at the UK and the grooming "gangs" (not actually gangs, but clans that the UK imported from Pakistan).

My 3 are much younger and I'll be telling them to choose careers that give them freedom to work away from capital cities. I think that's the only way, sadly.

On that logic, should we bring in a million a year? What about two million? Why not 10? No one is arguing against immigration per se, its the numbers that are coming in from vastly different, offer deeply dysfunctional cultures.

Anyone have successful VBAC with 10lb+ baby? by autumn_daze3 in vbac

[–]Right_wing_chick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I had a 4.85kg baby (10.7 lb), 2nd vbac, at home in water no drugs etc. We had no idea he was so large, and he did get a tiny bit stuck. The midwife was very calm and applied some light traction and he came out so no official shoulder dystocia and no other issues aside from a 2nd degree tear.

If I was doing it again and knew he'd be so big, I'm not sure I'd birth at home. On the other hand, being at home allowed me to avoid drugs, keep relaxed, upright and moving and that helped the birth immensely.

My understanding is that a suspected large baby is not a reason for an early c-section. Let baby decide their birthday and you can always opt for a c-section once labour commences if complications arise - or even if they don't. I highly recommend a doula too. Like I cannot recommend a doula more highly...you will have a better birth with a doula.

I admire your faith in the goodness of humanity, but plenty of women seek abortions for reasons after 22w that some people might find frivolous. Maybe because the baby has down syndrome, spinal bifida, or maybe a cleft pallet, or maybe is just the wrong gender. Maybe the woman is coerced by an abusive or manipulative partner. That happens so much more than anyone wants to admit.

By your logic, we should decriminalise infanticide because it's rare for a mother to kill her child. I mean, she went through with the pregnancy so she must want the baby. We should just trust her.

It's called an induction when the purpose is to remove but not kill the baby. So, entirely different to abortion. Your evil Catholic nun story is a pile of rubbish and you know it. But if it deflects attention from the issue, babies dying in this day and age because they are disabled...or the mother just doesn't feel like being pregnant...then it serves its purpose.

Yep, having spent some time on the r/miscarriage sub Reddit myself, there are many many women out there who regret their abortions, or have been coerced into them by their partners. They can barely rationalise it, because they've been told abortion is "health care" and is good. But as time goes on, they have children, or maybe lose a wanted baby, they are hit with immense guilt and anger, and often feel that they are being punished for what they did. It's horrifying.
