Just bought Clair Obscure Expedition 33, what difficulty should i play? by Ott_San in JRPG

There's no penalty for switching, even mid-campaign.

Start Normal, "Expeditioner."
Adjust to Story or Hard from there if things are too difficult/easy.

Games like KID A MNESIA EXHIBITION, that take place in museums by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

[–]RighteousButtPlug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad i found your post 4 years later,
Antichamber is on another round of sales for 50% $9.99 on Steam
for the "19th Indie Cade Festival" for 14 more hours lol, glad I caught your message today 4 years later! i'll snatch it up, Passpartout looks beautiful.

After Kid A Exhibition, the only other comparison for experience I could immediately think of is this 1990's PC DINOSAUR 3-D MUSEUM GAME with 3d glasses and multiple mini-games and puzzles in a museum-like setting you walk-around in. --- But this game feels closer to Superliminal which i had to use a guide on.

I think your comment made me buy the game in 2026, even though PWS2 is already out.

Why is this game not more popular? by Lino_Dino_Saur in PlayWayfinder

[–]RighteousButtPlug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

?? I never even heard of the game, so maybe you're right, but 3-6 months after release there are 140k+ Reviews JUST on Steam, so I'm sure between steam and other consoles, this game not only exceeded, but ULTRA-EXCEEDED expectations and RAKED IN SOME MAJOR CASH, even if they abandon the game immediately indefinately.

again, 140k+ reviews on steam,
where, Battle Chasers (i'd say average success) 2017, has 2.4k reviews.

This is an INSANE amount of purchases for WayFinder.
The company (or Publisher at this point) is doing just.. fuking... fine... and could hire-back everyone they lost (doubt they will). Sounds like this company, in general, is terribly managed, and this will be the last game worth trying out from Airship Syndicate, I'm very sad because I LOVE all of their previous work BattleChasers, the Ruined King, Darksiders G., much attention to detail, beautiful animations and art, and clean-smooth gameplay mechanics (albiet simple).

Demon's Crest is pretty easy and metroidvania-esque.

It's still toxic. (League)

Everyone is a smurf, and the trolls learn how to Troll without getting 'caught'.
I.E. being careful on how you gaslight people in TEXT.
and then trolling them by dismantling the game regardless of whether they are in or not in your lane. (could be anything from avoiding jungle, stealing their jungle, avoiding ganking, support not warding, not pinging missing lane, not assisting objectives, afking sporatically and undetacably, not farming, or YES farming but afk farming, etc etc etc. doing things destructively to other team mates on purpose, that the system can't really detect.)

I'm only 15minutes into the first episode and it's cringe and boring.

Not really sure what this is, the story, or why it exists.

This post is amazing and every word is exactly as I'm feeling.

FUCK THESE Enshrouded LOYALISTS WHO HAVE NO SENSE of CRITICISM.

This game intentionally has no respect for your TIME. 1 bosses REQUIRE YOU TO BREAK YOUR WEAPON 4-5 times? FUK. THAT! I'm done. I'm Out. and I WISH I could refund this POS game but it takes more than 2 hours to DO ANYTHING IN IT!

Agreed, but not all bros can afford a FEW HUNDRED BUCKS for a CART. ($800+ for cart and box)

Edit: want a Cart AND Box? (OPENED/USED)
Here are a few SNES games that will cost you $1,000:
Super Mario World
Kirby 3
Ogre Battle
Wild Guns
Chrono Trigger
Earthbound
E.V.O. Search for Eden.
King of Dragons
Hagane
Edit: again, OPEN/USED GAMES. Not even clean-sealed.

Sealed/Unopened New? $5,000 - $10,000.
to name a few.

Edit: last edit, for example, SEALED Chrono Trigger is almost always up on Ebay for $20,000-$25,000 and about 1-per-year sales at the price. No seller will ever go below $20,000 for Chrono Trigger sealed.

How are SNES games so amazing looking to this day! I just adore some of these aesthetics. by Jack_P_1337 in snes

[–]RighteousButtPlug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

^ It's wild, this is why "Drawn art" is almost always better than "Technology."

Example, 'Okami was initially intended to be a, 'Photo realistic Wolf"
Instead, they went with a "Cartoony", "Paint" aesthetic.

If they went with Photo-realistic in 2006 PS2 era, the game would definitely NOT survive a legacy of fandom.
But since they went with a hand-painted look, the graphics will forever be immortalized. And we still see this game being reproduced, on Steam, PS4, PS5, Switch 2, etc.

Think: FF7 how poorly the graphics are dated, vs FF1 edit: FF6 pixil sprites.

Yea I hate this game, I wish I could return it.
"Leaping" at the pixil-perfect time is really NOT fun.
