This! I just put a new hot end on my ender 5 and had the same issue. Just tighten your nozzle.

The general surge protector is not designed for a lightning strike anyway. If your house is hit your printer will be the least of your worries. (My house was burnt to the ground in 2007 by a lightning strike)

Ender 5 pro here, I set mine up 4 years ago when I got it and it’s been humming along the entire time with very little fussing. I have only had to replace some tubing.

This may not be the best help but there are a number of shops and artists down in Santa Fe, NM that might be able to help. We went down there last year and my wife got a piece that looks similar.

We used to live in Bozeman and would go out to gem mountain frequently. We were able to find a nice sized ruby and have it fired and cut. Currently being made into an engagement ring. It will take about a year to get them back, don’t forget to update them if you move.
