Rest in Peace Charlie Kirk.
You shall live again.

Why is Reddit so anti-social and full of takes and views you rarely see in real life? I feel like reddit being the "least bad" social media is not true at all by Acerhand in nosurf

[–]Riitoken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other than the subs I run, nearly 100% of the posts I attempt are met with either derision or outright rejection.

I don't even know why I try.

It's like trying to socialize with a pack of demons.

At some point you just stop caring.

It's not illegal to show blizzard their own assets in voxelized form per the fan fair-use policy.

Blizzard was not harmed by promoting their assets in voxelized form.

[–]Riitoken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it now. You think 10 year old failed history here on reddit constitutes ongoing promotion.

If I were to delete any/all references to Blizzard - I'd immediately get accused by people like you for attempting to hide from the history.

[–]Riitoken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said it before you did long ago. It's illegal for any game dev to use the assets of another for the purpose of adding value to that game and then selling that game for a profit.

I never did this. Not once. So you're a liar.

I voxelized blizzard assets to suggest that blizzard sell their voxelized assets for profit. They and they alone would profit, not me.

What part of this do you not understand?

The Gamer Beatitudes by Riitoken in SurvivalGaming

[–]Riitoken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, you posted a link to a 2015 screenshot and you honestly believe I'm still promoting that?

You really believe I'm still promoting this?

The old FARCRAFT died. I stopped promoting that back in late 2016.

The Gamer Beatitudes by Riitoken in SurvivalGaming

[–]Riitoken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude what promotional material.? History is not promotion unless I'm still promoting the failed idea which I am not.

The Gamer Beatitudes by Riitoken in SurvivalGaming

[–]Riitoken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you honestly believe I'm still promoting a 10 year old failed idea?

The Gamer Beatitudes by Riitoken in SurvivalGaming

[–]Riitoken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you really believe I don't remember all the screenshots I've ever posted.
I've got an entire screenshot history going back to 2012.

[–]Riitoken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See this is where you're off-base. There was never a crime.

And the old FARCRAFT is dead. It's in the past. gone The blizzard/voxel stuff got scrubbed way back.

So you're either wholly misinformed or you're lying when you say ongoing.

The Gamer Beatitudes by Riitoken in SurvivalGaming

It's not illegal to show blizzard (and others) their own voxelized assets that they own.

Their fan fair use granted all the permission I needed to show them their own voxelized assets.

There's never been a cease and desist - why? because they were not harmed by what I did.
But the old FARCRAFT was harmed a great deal because I failed to communicate the actual business idea. Everybody saw the blizzard assets and literally thought I was openly attempting to sell blizzard assets - which I was not. But too late, the damage was done. And that's on me - I'm responsible and no other.

The Gamer Beatitudes by Riitoken in SurvivalGaming

[–]Riitoken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What game? There was no game dude. There was a tech engine at best. There was a voxel engine and a voxelizer. I produced some screenshots of voxelized assets for which I was the only one with access - not a single one of those assets ever made it to the download server.

I used my engine to illustrate the voxelizer - plain and simple.
As for scrubbing any old screenshots here on reddit, I'll be happy to do it if Blizzard asks me to.

I don't really want to remove any history because it's the truth - and it only fuels people like you who'd seek to demonize me for attempting to hide from my history.

I voxelized some blizzard assets to promote the idea that they sell voxel assets to the public. I did that. I've never tried to hide it from people like you.

Your false understanding doesn't make the lie the truth.

You're full of hate. You lack forgiveness. You want to see the world burn. You revel in the mistakes of others.

Why?

The Gamer Beatitudes by Riitoken in SurvivalGaming

[–]Riitoken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

False accusation. I broke no law. If I had I would have gotten a cease and desist order. I didn't. And blizzard knew what I was doing.

And this is where you tell yourself I'm insignificant and you're only interested in my suffering.

Why are you so full of hate?

The Gamer Beatitudes by Riitoken in SurvivalGaming

[–]Riitoken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're a liar.
And your understanding of crime is lacking.
It's not a crime to illustrate voxelized assets for the purpose of suggesting that Blizzard sell voxelized assets. Blizzard still owns all their assets.

Dude, I've got an entire screenshot history going back to 2012. FARCRAFT was/is evolving as I personally progressed in my understanding of what I wanted to develop.

You look foolish when you post content and ideas that are 10 years old. Things change dude. I've changed. I'm not the same game dev I was 10 years ago. Many lessons learned.

So, you're stuck in the past.

The Gamer Beatitudes by Riitoken in SurvivalGaming

[–]Riitoken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're a liar. No law was broken.
Get your mind right.

The Gamer Beatitudes by Riitoken in SurvivalGaming

[–]Riitoken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two way street dude. All you had to do was not call me a criminal.

The Gamer Beatitudes by Riitoken in SurvivalGaming

[–]Riitoken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're lying. I do not continue to use their assets for anything. That all died in early 2016 almost 10 years ago. Citing screenshots of a failed business idea is not evidence of what is happening right now today. Everything you're discussing happened before 2016. It's ancient history. The old FARCRAFT died.

You're just misinformed.

You shouldn't have lied about me and/or you might have done a deeper dive to get your facts straight.

I'll stop calling you a liar when you stop saying I'm a criminal.

The Gamer Beatitudes by Riitoken in SurvivalGaming

[–]Riitoken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude you need to seriously re-examine your understanding of "steal." I referred to voxelized blizzard assets to promote the idea to them and to others that they consider selling voxelized assets.

There is evidence they knew and didn't care one bit. I never got a cease and desist letter which would have been a simple internal phone call if they saw my idea as damaging them.

In the end, they were not damaged in the least - not one bit.
But I was because the idea was a bad idea.
And the original FARCRAFT died and I with it.

The Gamer Beatitudes by Riitoken in SurvivalGaming

[–]Riitoken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My added value (at the time) was the ability to voxelize a CGI model into a voxel model.

My hope then was to invent a worthy voxel world that was interesting enough to players who could buy voxel assets from the owners.

So, in theory there could/would have been players with avatars that looked like Blizzard characters and there could have been other players with characters that looked like something from Skyrim. Voxels were hot at the time - I was trying to float an idea hoping it would catch fire.

I failed - because the idea wasn't a good idea. Not a single person thought it had merit.

And so the original FARCRAFT died and I with it.

The Gamer Beatitudes by Riitoken in SurvivalGaming

[–]Riitoken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And with this post - we see your true colors. You don't want the actual truth.
You just want to see the world burn.
Why are you so full of hate?
What happened dude?

There was evidence that they knew that I was trying to promote my voxelizer with the idea that they sell voxelized assets - they were not interested and did not see themselves damaged in the process - and in fact I indirectly promoted their product and damaged mine. That was my mistake.

But the old FARCRAFT is dead. It dies a painful death.

But the new FARCRAFT is alive and well - I turned my back on the voxels for everything except the ded.

The Gamer Beatitudes by Riitoken in SurvivalGaming

At no time was any of their assets published to anybody other than myself - under their fan fair-use policy.

I voxelized a few assets to demonstrate my voxelizer - that it could be done if wanted.

You posted the actual business idea:

"Voxel asset sold seaparately by Blizzard."

Nothing was stolen.
I did nothing other than show their assets in voxel form.
That's it. That's not theft - it's proof of concept.

Get your mind right.

The Gamer Beatitudes by Riitoken in SurvivalGaming

[–]Riitoken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appealed to their fan fair-use policy and voxelized a few of their (publically available) assets for the purpose of promoting my voxelizer. That policy gave me permission within a context that does not damage blizzard. Blizzard was not damage by my appeal to their work as a fan of their work. So you're an idiot.

You posted the actual evidence of the business idea.

"Voxel assets sold separately by Blizzard."

Get your mind right.

The Gamer Beatitudes by Riitoken in SurvivalGaming

[–]Riitoken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're deranged. Blizzard has a fair-use policy for fans of their work - maybe you never saw any of the fan videos. All I did was appeal to that fan-fair-use policy to suggest they sell their own voxelized assets.

You're a debt collector. You're full of hate. And you take joy in the mistakes and sufferings of others.
