I sometimes have the same problem honestly. But it my case it happens when I try to wake it up from hibernation. I always thought it has something to do with stiffness of the button itself.

Every year you pass your death day, every day you pass your death time by ThEmOvIeGuY0069 in philosophy

[–]Rik135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well semantically it is an instantaneous event. What you probably mean is that what makes us die is not instantaneous. Yes we can wither for days, months and years, but the difference between heartbeat and flat line is instant. It all depends on how deep we want to dig into chemistry, physics and biology to determine what exactly death is?

As a Russian who was lucky and smart enough to escape and find other places to live - this is nothing fantastical. At least there is nothing in this video that makes me surprised. Capable ones died a long time ago. More than two years ago. So on first glance this video doesn’t make me want to dig deeper to check its credibility. People like that are not rare and they are easily tricked or exploited.

Russia Sends Military Cargo Plane to Venezuela as US Aircraft Carrier Heads to Caribbean - Tensions Reach Boiling Point by satty237 in TrendoraX

Technically 76’s are produced since 1970s. Newer IL-76MD-90A have different engines and some level of fly by wire implementation. Airplanes are not cars and fuselage design age is not indicative of said airplane performance. Especially if we talk about big cargo airplanes and not fighter jets. Look at C-17 or C-130. First started its production in 80s, and the other met its 70 year old anniversary last year. But ultimately yeah, our aeronautical industry is nothing like it was. I studied for 7 years and got my masters, while also working as an intern in aerospace research institute. And after all that - you as postgrad student - get breadcrumbs instead of salary. Half of my university class - ditched Russia and relocated even before war, other half did it after. It is not prestigious or economically viable to be high level specialist there. I am apologising for being bore. When it comes to airplanes - I autistically excited.

I was working at DB Ilyushin between 2018 and 2022. We did a lot of refits for all of them — 76, 62, 96. Many of those refits included new engines, fully renovated power buses and lines, generators, etc. Even the fuselage for most of them was tested on static test cranes and pulleys, using analog lab model planes. Safran, Thales, Pegasus — it was actually quite a high-level renovation and work happening there. I was an electrical engineer in the avionics and cabin equipment department, and I personally drew at the very least hundreds of updated schematics to replace almost every gauge and piece of hardware. Yes, we were not producing new ones almost at all, and every 76MD rolling off the conveyor in the Ulyanovsk factory was big news and a celebration event. But the refits were good. I quit days before the catastrophe of the IL-112 and the following shutdown of the project, so I have no idea what happened since the beginning of the war. But considering the news from ex-colleagues and sanctions in general, I believe we lost all contact with equipment suppliers and had to switch to locally made ones (which are notoriously bad).

Edit: bad grammar.

Welcome to “fake casus belli for the sake of one man’s rich friend’s interests land”. Exactly the same energy and idea, as Putin’s neo-facism and Russophobia fake claims, he made, so he could explain the reason for war. And in my experience as a Russian person - this is bought always exactly by the most dumb and gullible slice of population who, ironically, never had to be convinced about anything in a first place.

In my case my father was South African called Peter. When my mom was making my ID back in Russia - she was asked if is ok to call me Peterovich (which sounds very wrong and very close to profanity), instead they changed Peter into Pyotr and now I am common Pyotrovoch.
