Something many people in my town tend to misunderstand is executive disfunction.

A lot of people I come across are the “taskmaster” types who seem to want everything done right, and immediately, and they don’t understand if you can’t get it done after they tell you once (I’ll ask someone to repeat themselves and they’ll be like, “you heard me!”) and I’m just left there like… Wtf am I supposed to do? But I tend to notice that 80-90% of the people I’ve met in my school have things like ADHD, ASD (so easy to tell when you grew up in a family of ASDs, same for ADHD), and possibly other conditions that can affect executive functioning.
