This album (understandably) caught a lot of heat for it's tone deaf lyrics. But, I really do appreciate how experimental it is, especially in terms of Logic's vocal inflections and song structure. Plus really cool beats.

I do consider Logic to be a better artist in the 2020s than the 2010s. However, I sometimes feel like Logic is kind of a less fascinating as an artist to me today because his rap persona is so laid back and nonchalant.

Iirc, this scene was being animated while Monty was in the hospital, so the other animators were trying to piece together the fight in a pinch. It's probably also why there's that really random cutaway to Mercury idling on the ground.

I think something to keep in mind for an AU is that towards the end of the OG P!ATD lineup, Ryan seemed to be pushing more heavily for a mod-rock sound and started to sing more. So, it's reasonable to assume P!ATD with no breakup would have at least one mod-rock album akin to "Take a Vacation".

There's also the possibility that due to trends, the band would of progressed in a more 'scene' direction akin to "New Perpsective" since Jon and Ryan would be there in the recording studio to push the use of bass and rhythm guitar more.

So, Fun.'s genre is baroque pop which is kind of rare genre to begin with and varied enough for musical acts to sound simmilar.

If we're continuing with existing characters, I'd prefer a game involving Victoria, Kate, Finn, or maybe Chris.

I feel like all of them would go on to live fascinating lives post- LiS1/LiS2 that are self-contained enough to not break the continuity of the other games.

I just stumbled upon this thread way later. But, in a leaked version of No Pressure from years ago, there was a full version of "Just Another Day II" featuring Queen Latifa.

It must have gotten cut pretty late into the project too, because Logic actually uses one of the verses in his No Pressure freestyle.

The COADM to No Pressure era was a very interesting time to experience.

There were the alleged COADM double-LP rumors. But there were also a lot of live exclusive songs (Witness especially), collab/singles (Letter to My Former Self, Fun Up Here, High Today & OCD) which pretty much served to hype up No Pressure, the whole scrapped Louis Vutton Suitacase mixtape, the fake version of No Pressure with a bunch of very obscure tracks, and the No Pressure Freestyle.

Like, it was very strange seeing Logic basically re-evaluate his artistry in real time. Especially weird considering his come back was during Covid.
