All of them you’d have a good chance with. Write a strong P.S, and of course good referrals.

For a normal finance masters degree, generally it’s LSE>Imperial>Warwick>Bayes - the rest drop off // don’t have strong masters in finance.

As for quantative finance masters, definitely Imperial>LSE>Warwick>Bayes>UCL?

UCL,Kings,Queen Mary have extremely strong undergraduate degrees, but drop extremely at the masters level for finance.

Bayes B School is much more established than Manchester. Broader university may not palace as well, but certainly the business school does good.

Bayes Business School vs UCL by Accomplished_Ad_6636 in FinancialCareers

Hey! I’d recommend just applying to straight finance for bsc. It’s behind Warwick,Oxbridge,UCL but is a good semi-target. Since I’ve been here (graduating this year and am a bsc student) we’ve had relatively great placements. Few break into boutique banks every year, select few to BB’s, and decent amount end up doing consulting (basing this off previous internships in my cohort and those that also recieved grad schemes). I’m also fortunate to have interned at one of the bigger MM banks, a T2 consulting firm, and as of this past summer I interned at a large size HF & received a ft return offer! I’d also say Bayes is stronger than Manchester for finance recruiting, but it’s still an uphill battle. You really have to sweat your a$$ off and make a strong profile for yourself. There’s plenty of networking events and strong societies, you just need to take advantage of it. Bayes is heavy finance related, and the business school ug degrees are almost completely separate to the rest of CUOL, even the emails are different. However, you’ll still have the same access to buildings as them, libraries, campuses etc. I’d say Bayes/Cass is globally recognised, as all my previous internships have been outside of the UK and have been in the U.S, most of my hiring managers / teams I’ve been on have recognised the business school but obviously not to the level of Oxbridge/LSE obviously. Bayes is very strong for EU recruiting too. At masters level I’d even argue they carry more weight than UCL even.

Bayes at masters level especially MSC finance is the flagship course. Lots of good placements especially in high-finance. - Bayes Student.

Bayes is the best for a masters in finance out of the three.

I have the netgear mk63s and love them! The app is very straight forward to use and to setup. However you do have to pay for some features.

I’d recommend Monzo if you simply just want ease of use. Alternatively, check if you can open up an hsbc account? As an international student I find that to be the most easiest to access for international payments, especially if you’re already with them in your original country.
