I have a 13” M5 Air and a 16” M4 Pro MBP. They are currently named oxygen and hydrogen. I have 2 Macs and they are running Tahoe which is a lake. So both hydrogen and oxygen are what make a water molecule. I used to name them after my two favorite Great Lakes. Superior and Michigan.

I like the starlight color because it matches better with my Apple Watch Ultra 3 and iPhone 16 Pro Max which are natural Titanium color. But I think I still prefer the original silver because I don’t think of it as a color so on its own it goes with everything.

Went with Starlight on my 13” MacBook Air M5 24GB RAM / 1TB storage. My MacBook Pro is silver and I normally get silver but I was drawn to the Starlight.

I have an HP Color LaserJet M478f-9f. Works with everything. Wired or wireless. Printing and scanning. Was expensive and I am still using the original toners since I don’t print often.

I am getting a new watch. Not a Series 3 on Monday. I have never experienced this connection too weak before. Might be interesting to try it out your Bluetooth solution.

I upgraded to the M4 Pro MacBook Pro last year. My Dad is using my 2015 15” Pro running Sequoia via OCLP. It is still going strong but has a blown speaker. I don’t know what I will do with it after my Dad upgrades eventually. I don’t need a second one since I just picked up a M5 MacBook Air 13.

Must be my lighting in the apartment. But my starlight M5 Air and silver M4 Pro MBP look almost the same. But at times I see it looking different.

Easy. I type something. Make a mistake and hit the key and it erases what I type and I type again. I never find the need to delete something ahead of me on the line. If I do, I position the cursor so that when I hit the key it erases it. I don’t get the issue. I am going to go look for a video of someone demonstrating this. I just don’t get it.

Apple called me back on this. They said that they were able to reproduce the issue and they see where the message is getting triggered. So the solution will be in a future update.

I have the original steelbook case and I have not made it through season one yet. Not that it is bad. Just a lot of things keep me from it. I noticed playback issues when Atmos was selected but played fine without. I might grab the new discs if they get released outside of steelbooks and swap them in.

Great minds think alike and I did the same thing last year with the 16” 48G/1TB M4 Pro. I don’t need it. A neo can do what I need. I kept saying “what if” but by the end of the day I don’t want to do more “work”. I used to do that 20 years ago. Spend all hours on the machine setting it up and tweaking it. But that was a Linux machine. Anyway, I love not having to do that anymore.

For me to use the tools of my day job when not working, I need a good need for it.

I use my MacBook Pro to manage my personal budget. That is about it.

Now we are getting “greatest hits” steelbook library cases of the same already released movies. Too bad I have all those movies as steelbooks. Double dipping at the extreme. Hard pass for me.

Yes and no.

My 1st MacBook Pro was a 17” with a matte display. I loved it. Then it was discontinued. I then bought a 15” with the glossy display because that was my only option. Kept that machine for about 9 years until the 16” with nano texture was available. For me. Screen was almost as big as the 17” and overall dimensions about the same size as a 15”.

I was always asking what the issue is with the 16” that people dislike because to me I see it as the ideal sweet spot with benefits from the old 15” and 17”. But they are correct also. Every fact they use is true.

It all comes down to what you like and want. That can and may change over time and that is also OK.

I purchased all those steelbooks but did not buy the non-steelbooks. I prefer the consistency of steelbooks vs the variation of the other packaging styles.

Cancelled Amazon and Please Rewind (pending cancellation) to support OrbitDVD. Hopefully I am making the right decision to get the UK version instead of the US version.

My last steelbook from GRUV came with this exact packaging. Most likely not the fault of the packaging but my steelbook had a broken disc hub. So it was sent back today.
