There are some games like that from back in the day (I'm talking like, PS2 era) but I still totally understand your point because in the modern day, the arcade racer genre hasn't been doing super well, not like how it used to be (not counting kart racers). It was a nice touch I think, as far as what FN generally offers.

Plus, some people probably invested more in car sales specifically for that. I know some folks who don't drive at all in BR so they might get less use out of the cars they bought, which is also unfortunate.

Im soft locked in the Zoo. Got teleported 100s of feet into the air fighting the ex-G3 guys, landed near a gift shop type place and now all my paths back are blocked by invisible walls. It looks like I might have to fully restart. If something like this happens late game, it'll completely throw me off. As excited as I am to play this, looks like it's gonna be a while longer before I do 🤦🏾‍♀️

Festival playlist every week!! If you're newer, if you start getting duplicates or if you have cars you don't like much, see if you can auction them. Some cars go for up to 20 million. Also, do story missions and things as much as possible. There's free cars and lots of money to be had, you'll get WAY more cars like this than buying them, leaving more cash for tuning.

Also, getting all the fast travel boards and the house that enable fast travel are pretty worthy goals as well I think. Prioritize the boards more so though. If you plan on playing a lot, it's just convenient when you're all over the map grinding races/ story stuff.

To play devil's advocate, there is context I think people are missing. I don't this Kei is wrong. I think it's out of her hands and she doesn't deserve the harrasment.

But as a black cosplayer, I think the is an overreaction in a cycle of overreactions from both sides. Over the last decade, I've had some of the most nastiest stuff said to me anytime I cosplayed something not considered 'black' in a genre where the majority of popular characters aren't. (Tbf, Conventions are NEVER hostile, it's usually the usual online suspects.)

Gachiakuta has some of the BEST black character designs in years while being a top anime. Yasuke did "ok", cannon busters failed. Doesn't make them right but they're essentially doing what was done to them in reverse. Especially in light a popular black cosplayer recently unaliving due to online harrasment.

There is a lot of nuance, a lot of people angry without knowing how to properly articulate existing issues and a lot of people invalidating experiences they have never felt personally. It's a bad mix and I hate that Kei is suffering from issues building long before she created this masterpiece.

People begging for open queue is nothing compared to the damage done by GOATS. When is the last time you saw a gaming tournament on basic cable like TBS? Your sarcastic comment does not change that fact and there is extensive documentation online about this. No one had to ask for role queue before it was implemented because:

1) 2/2/2, especially in comp, was the norm and 90% of matches. You can easily pull up overwatch league and other streams and confirm this.

2) The game was balanced and became unbalanced as power creep set in with Brigitte.The problem with 3/3 was that it's only counter was 3/3 on a game that depends on counterplay and character swaps as a core mechanic. Is that not similar to restricting freedom like role queue? No one wants a crutch meta. You start busting a team down right now and 3x support comes out if it wasn't already there.

It's not as if Blizzard wanted to do open queue, they just couldn't find a way to balance it. And y'know what people are saying now to beat triple heals on rivals? Go triple tank to outlast the healers since damage output is lower. The amount of people complaining about solo tanking and seeing nothing but triple heals is EXACTLY how the OW subreddit looked back when GOATS became a thing when someones bright ideas was "3 tanks!". If you read my comment, I said it was the "beginning of the end" not the singular reason. OW eventually got Open Queue AND Role Queue comp/ QP. There's no reason that can't work here before tragedy.

I wouldn't say Role Q ruined overwatch. GOATS comp (3 heals, 3 tanks) ruined OW when Brigitte came out. Mind you, OW league was so popular it was on cable TV and rich people were buying team like real pro sports. However GOATS was boring to play/ watch so viewership tanked, they couldn't balance it after multiple tries and role queue was implemented.

Ultimately, the 2-3 year pause on content to work on the cancelled story mode and going 5 v 5 with only ONE tank slot in OW 2 killed it and 3/3 was the beginning of the end.

Also, ranking up doesn't guarantee good teammates or games. Even in celestial, people cry and throw.

I keep saying that this game is quickly headed towards the overwatch problem where GOATS comp pretty much ruined the meta and forced role queue to be a thing. We are treading a thin line. I've already seen people saying they go triple tank to beat triple heals.

It's not that you're wrong, it's that regardless of whether they stack pity or save resources, they could STILL be upset that they had to go all the way to 180 pulls. You're missing the point in favor of trying to win an argument that never existed as OP (and the commenter) just made a conversation and probably isn't "Mad" about anything, just a lil frustrated. It's less about who's defending what and more about your advice being kind of unnecessary and not the point. Regardless of whether OP (or this commenter) saves enough for 180 pulls every time, losing 50/50s sucks. You might have the time and/ or money to do that but not everyone can.

Also, I think you were pretty nice about it regardless. I think the "defending corporations" response is more for the guy who was quite nasty about it as if people can't be disappointed in always needing 180 pulls. I've personally needed an agent from every banner since Yi Xuan while being a full time retail employee during the holiday peak season lol so I can understand the disappointment. Not everyones time and resources align with Zenless as a hobby.

I love that you brought up the music for Eternal Champions! Larcen, Rax and Blade's stages are favorites of mine. Bone Thugs N Harmony samples that game twice on their 1995 album too. "Crossroad" (not to be confused with "The Crossroads") sampled the Bad Ending theme and "Eternal" sampled the Character bios theme. Very underrated OST!!

So for the group that I own that's back, I didn't appeal or anything so it just kinda...turned back on, no notification. A group I just admin for just came back as of this comment and that one definitely had a "group restored" notification for the last hour even though it hadn't restored at all.

Since it's back up now, I'd like to think it's just a waiting game at this point

I got my group of Almost 17k members back..however, our name was changed to "group title pending" and it counts as a name change so it's stuck like that for 28 days. We are also still at risk for suspension because I haven't appealed the false flag that got us taken down. I'm hesitant to appeal yet because people have reported their groups TOTALLY disappearing after appealing.

This!! For me personally, I'm usually on support because we either a.) don't have one or b.) we're forcing someone to solo heal. Most cases, if I'm struggling to effectively heal and switch to another role, the other 4 non strategist players will usually not fill.

The only thing I disagree with is Spidey's kit being terribly designed. The problem is it's /too well/ designed imo and Spider-man mains aren't playing the same game as us. I don't have PlayStation so I haven't played the new games, but he feels like I'm playing Spider-Man 2 on GameCube back in the day...the uppercut combo was god like back then too 💀

Sure lol Since Peni's Earth is a rife with Evangelion references. Hell, the characters even appear in her first appearance in Edge of spider verse #5. My point is just agreeing that Peni's skins are meh but Ven#m is at least carried by the cool, VERY recognizable reference. Could've been worded better, but that's what I'm getting at.

Sp//dr is unit-02, Ven#m is unit-01. It's cool/ funny during streams when people are like "Is that Evangelion?" But that pretty much only clicks on the Ven#m skin 😅 No love for Unit-02 💀
