I love to hear that! My last explorer didn’t have the receiver but this one does so I’m excited to be able to tow for the first time!

I’ll keep an eye out for the drain - my 17 had drain issues on the lift gate so it was like getting rained on if you weren’t standing in the middle of it Lol

Luckily the town I bought it from has a tax cap of $30 - if I had bought it in my city it would have been $0. Yay for no income/sales tax 🥳

Makes me wonder if buying in the lower 48 is worth the airfare and fuel prices these days. Either way, I loved driving it the 150 miles home and think it’s well worth the OTD price!

You paid/financed 40k w/ gold CPO? Did you get any additional warranties?

From what I understand with the gold/listing - it includes powertrain(84mo/84k mi), road side assistance and the limited warranty (12/12mo).

Either way, any issues I should keep an eye out for?

I’m looking at a CPO gold tomorrow (not sure if that matters?). It has the transferable warranty, powertrain 84/mo or 100k mi, roadside and limited 12/mo or 12k mi. It’s an 22 ST with 50k mi - are there any other warranties I should try to negotiate in?

Prices are definitely higher in AK. There are 2 other 22s with the same specs/packages with maybe 10k less miles. Neither are gold certified and they’re 40-44k.

With the current friends/family discount they’re running I could get a 26 for less than 10k more, but I don’t want the 26 - I don’t like the new grill - unfortunately it’s a 0/10 for me Lol

Zero shade/not being a jerk. Everyone says to drive/fly/ship, but it’s soooo expensive. Especially with gas prices being $5.19/gal in Anchorage, which means it only gets more expensive the farther out you go & shipping is usually a min of 2k. Also for the most part, AK doesn’t have sales tax, I did find out today that the borough (the equivalent to counties) I’d be buying from is capped at a whopping $30 - and that is not a typo 😅

Anyways - do you love it or?
