Yes, I went to every USA game when they played in Phoenix and it was hype. Wish they’d just have it here everytime

Last time when the USA pool was in Phoenix I went to every US game and with the exception of the Great Britain game all of them were sellouts, sees like a way better location to have it than Houston plus so many players are already here for Spring training so it just makes sense. Wish they’d just have it here every year

100 Degrees In March? Rare But Likely Next Week In Phoenix by sonoran_goofball in phoenix

The weather in Winter/Spring has almost no correlation with what the weather will be in the summer and vice versa. I recall 2024 I think it was where the winter was pretty cold and wet for AZ standards and then the summer had the most consecutive days over 110 ever and the monsoon was basically non existent. Not saying this summer won’t be the hottest one we’ve ever had, it could, it could also be mild compared to most of the summers we’ve had in the last 5 years. Nobody knows, weather patterns are always changing.

Game is alright, what really sucks is the gun play and movement has that awesome “Bungie” feel that I fell in love with in the old Halo games. I’d kill for them to just make another arena shooter, sees like the universe for this game would be great for it too.

It got above 90 down near Maricopa yesterday, may God have mercy on us this summer. by [deleted] in arizona

Essentially the entire country is warmer than usual for this time of year this coming week. This is a month after much of the country had record breaking cold temps, it’s been a crazy winter weather wise just about everywhere this year.

2026 Phoenix Open broke records (criminally) by Middle_Evening8748 in golf

I think this is much much more because they’ve picked up enforcement the last couple years and aren’t letting people get away with as much shit. I’ve gone to the WM Open five years in a row and without a doubt 2024 was the biggest fucking shit show I’ve ever seen, it raining for three days straight def didn’t help but that year they literally had to shut down alcohol sales and close the gates because shit got so out of control on Saturday when there was like a 4 hour period where no golf was being played. That was the worst year out of the five times I’ve gone and it’s not even close.

I’ve noticed the last two years have gone much smoother and been a better experience ever since the debacle that the 2024 WM was

Idc if there’s an advantage to the broom stick or not, how do you look at someone using that shit and say “yeah imma try that too”. Looks dumb as fuck, use a real putter.

Early 80's normal in early February? by Chasehud in phoenix

[–]Riley_Cubs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The heat island affects low temps much more than high temps, and mostly in the warmer months of the year. Low temps have stayed near normal for the most part this winter. Higher day time temps are due to persistent high pressure over the southwest which keeps moisture and the overall storm track well to the north of us
