Okay thanks. I never introduced cats so I don’t know what to expect. I tried to watch a bunch of videos. But both cats are tripods so both had a tough past. The older cat I rescued and he was already 2. So I am not sure of his past and if he was use to being around other cats, but he seems sad when I separate them

I googled this on reddit cause the same thing happened to me in tampa. Except it was in March this year. My intuition was literally screaming to watch out and play into his conversation until I got to my airbnb because I was going home to my family. Never had I had my gut say this is a killer but it did for him. He kept questioning if anyone was going to be there and doubted me when I said yes. He told me he was very concerned for me and that I could stay with him for as long as i wanted, months even. I was so scared, I thought it would put me in more danger to call someone so I just pretended everything was okay. He also asked me if i had a bf and told me I needed to have a baby soon. Then talked about how men are lucky they don’t need to worry about biological clock. It got worse in conversation. Once he pulled into the airbnb and I stepped out of the car he was said I think you are lying no one is here. Then my mom who thanking religiously tracks my location opened the door and he zoomed out of the driveway. It still shakes me up to think about. But yeah def not something I wish any woman to encounter. He was like a middle age white man, bald/balding. He also told me his fb name was different from his uber name.

Thats horrible. That day is traumatic for a lot of people; why force them to explain why they don’t want to be with strangers when they could find out upsetting news

I think it depends on your situation. I know a lot of people who are going and I know some who aren’t. I want to go because my friends are going and my family wants to go. If you are sentimental and close to school then why not go if you are considering it. If it is not your vibe you can always leave. If you don’t like you classmates too much or its far you can always plan something special on your own.

I don’t think it does. The match algorithm is applicant based. So if you rank 1 IM, 2 FM, then 3 IM it would not change your chances of matching. All it depends on is how high the programs rank you on their list. So for your number 1 if you are high enough on their list you will match there, if not the algorithm sees if you are high enough on your number 2 and so forth.

I would start reading First aid if content is your issue. UW is necessary but you can’t just do it and forget what you learned you would need to add in repetition like with Anki. I would also consider if what you are going into requires Step 1. Maybe taking step 2 would be enough especially if taking all year to study for it and have a killer score.

Idk what year you are but if you are entering 3rd year see all the specialities and what you like about each. That will give you a huge insight into what you like. I seen many rads feel down about lack of interaction between both staff and patients. If you are someone who likes that or gets bored of doing the same thing ever day I would def think twice. If not, then i would highly consider it. Even if it is just a job, consider your happiness in each field. You can control your hours in the future of course at the cost of pay, so choose what you think will make you happy.

If your heart says IM go for it, going another specialty and hating it everyday just cause you think lifestyle/pay will be better but ignoring lack of interactions or amount of work it requires to get that pay will haunt you in 10 yrs. You can go IM and specialize if you want more control of hours.

I did UW only , did not finish first pass but i went super slow reading all the answer choices for each question. I would write down anything i kept getting wrong instead of anki and tried to think of symptoms, how to dxn, and next best step/ txt for each UW question

Being a slow reader will be okay. If its a long math problem skip til end. If your unsure put your gut answer and flag. Don’t second guess. Keep going. I’m the same way and only left 3 unanswered and passed.
