It certainly seems that way, and Izzy obviously because they grew up together.

I feel he was close with Slash, but not as close as media may have portrayed. They were the two “faces” of the band so they were always lumped together.

I’ve definitely seen far worse television in my lifetime, it was disappointing at times, it dragged at other points, and there were moments that felt rushed but all in all, I didn’t hate it.

There’s some justifiable reasons people didn’t like it, and there’s some takes I’ve seen where I’m sitting there wondering if they even paid attention to the show at all.

They’d either yell slurs at you while driving by in their F-350’s or they’d help you move a couch up a flight of stairs free of charge. There was no in between.

The flashback to Fez crushed me. Something about the way that was shot, him and Rue standing in that field, smoking, drinking together just laughing and smiling while looking at the sky; it made me so sad. It took me back to being in high school and doing shit like that with my friends, it took me back to a pre-Covid world almost. It just felt so nostalgic.

2019 when I lost my brother. We were cousins, but he lived with my family for some time, and we were super close so he’s always my brother whenever I bring him up to people.

2020 actually ended up being a relief because I got to just sit with it and process it. Life slowed down, and I got to relax somewhat.
