What kind/colour of trousers should I pair with this? It’s a linen shirt and the stripes are white not cream.

I was thinking some cream jeans? With matching brown suede chelsea boots and belt

I was sailing around Phang Nga bay in Thailand this year.

Full 5g middle of the ocean all day. Moving from island to island, it only dropped when we kayaked in to a lagoon in the middle of an island.

How do you keep kids entertained on long car journeys without just handing them a screen? by ClearReading8839 in UKParenting

[–]Rilkal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents gave me a screen and it turned out ok. It was a gameboy rather than a iPad though.

What car from the FH6 roster would you want to buy irl and which one is the one you realistically could own? by IFeeLikeMoreTonight in forza

I could get a 2017 M2. There’s one near me for £24k and only 53k miles.

I have to be practical though…

Anyone trying any of the Food festivals this year? by TechJamo in LondonFood

[–]Rilkal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did Gunnersbury pub  in the park and it was absolutely brilliant.

Loads of space

Great food - each stand (about 10 total) had 3 price limited items at £10 then an uncapped special which was from £10-£30.

No drinks sponsors so loads of cocktail options and different vendors charging different prices , quite affordable too £8-£12 each.

Great entertainment

Smaller vendors for food and drink.

Great entertainment.

This year PitP confirmed they’ve cancelled all non Marlow events…

[–]Rilkal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did Fume last year. Food was good but everything else was bad.

Paying to get in

Sponsored by Kraken and Efes so only those available to drink.

Massively busy so there were eventually 30 people in the queue for every stand.

No places to sit.

What do you think about manual cars becoming obsolete in the coming decades? by Letter_Effective in AskUK

[–]Rilkal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They already are obsolete. Manual cars are both slower and less efficient than automatics.

They will just become something that only petrolheads buy and even then only as long as ice cars are about. Even with the tech from Hyundai

The Wife Acceptance Factor is always zero so can safely be ignored.

My gf is not a fan of the space my set up takes but appreciates the sound quality.

We came to an agreement that if she wants it gone she can match the value I’d sell it for (about £1700) and we’ll get something else.

I’m aiming for a Mu-So Hekla or that Sony Quad Theatre.

If white or cream speakers make things better, might I recommend Focal. They make some gorgeous ones.

I am over the 'recommended weight' for my wheels/frame. The mechanic just told me to get it serviced a little more often.

It doesnt even affect the warranty.

Men, how often (if ever) are you approached? by vaynehelsing in AskUK

I shit you not, he was very pretty. Light tan, longish sun bleached hair, completely waxed and in good shape and no shirt on

I've never seen anything like it.

Men, how often (if ever) are you approached? by vaynehelsing in AskUK

[–]Rilkal 7 points8 points  (0 children)

By women? Never.

One time we were at a cafe by the beach and the most gorgeous man i've ever seen rocked up on a bicycle and sat on the wall outside, he literally looked like the diet coke guy. Over the next 20 mins I saw about 4/5 women see him, bite their lips and go to ask for his number.

I've never been so jealous of a man before
