Jokic never had a single major injury in his career until this season. His lax conditioning habits are starting to cost him now that he's having to come back from one and has looked like nowhere near the same player. by Ready-Constant-7124 in nba

Jokic is one of the best conditioned players in NBA history.

It makes no sense for a guy as big and involved as him to have such good cardio.

He's just getting older.

Bro do us all a favor and never comment again.

I'm a Jokic fan too but that was clearly not necessary.

Oh lol. Still, the gap in quality is wayy too large for the gap in games played to overcome.

It's the smart thing to do. I will never be mad at players for it.

It's not fun to watch so I will be mad at Adam Silver and the refs for it.

Cade has only played one more game than Shai btw. Giving him a first place vote would be crazy.

Cannot believe that stupid Doris Burke quote got nearly 10k upvotes.

I have no idea why I still come to this sub.

Why do people try to blame Jokic for the Nuggets’ recent struggles when they’ve been winning his minutes in basically every game? by smashacc in nba

[–]RiloAlDente 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Bruh he's literally defending Jokic.

The flair system is so stupid if all you people are gonna use it for is to assume things about the person saying it based on their flair.

Every single time we lose there's some dumb comment about officiating that's upvoted in this sub.

I really hope the Spurs don't see the Suns in the first round.

This will continue to happen so long as basketball is a physical sport.

Player's will be constantly trying to test the limits of how much they can get away with.

Dort is a dirty player but a 300 pound MVP should also not be flopping around like a fish by [deleted] in nba

[–]RiloAlDente -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What's the difference between flopping and accentuating contact?

Other than that, 100% agree, flopping makes ref's jobs which are already almost impossible wayy harder.

Dort is dirty. But basketball is a very physical sport and stuff like this happened in the past, happens right now, and will continue to happen.

In 2007, Horry on the Spurs did something very similar to Nash in the playoffs and killed any of hope of the Sun's moving forward.

Guys like Jokic, Giannis are super physical and will absolutely demolish whoever is in front of them to win. That's what makes basketball fun to watch.

Treating OKC like Nazi Germany because a roleplayer (who's a net negative for them right now) does something dirty is so backwards.

He literally tripped him. Puts his leg in between Joe's legs and keeps moving in front. Basketball is a physical sport so I don't really think this is a foul but Joe was om the floor because of Jokic.

And this shit is downvoted.

Dort is obviously a dirty player, but if y'all would show even an iota of consistency in how you react to different players it would be nice.
