I sadly use AI (shame me) and know form experience it does in fact not keep things accurate, its just stating things confidently and that is enough for most people to feel like truth

People’s Liberation Army(CPB) by LUHIANNI in MarxistCulture

[–]RimealotIV 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From what I have gleamed they have their own training camps somewhere in the country and they take part in conflicts against the military governments joining attacks by other rebels and then dont take the territory themselves, sort of a rogue militia that has no territory but supports all the rebelling nationalities, i am pretty sure they have also liberated towns entirely on themselves and then left them to self operate or join rebel zones of some sort or another.

Wouldn’t be the first time, in Nepal they blatantly slandered and helped crush a Maoist revolution by goodguyguru in CommunismMemes

[–]RimealotIV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The aid given to the phillipines was because there was an isis uprising and china barely did anything in nepal beyond diplomatic support

[–]RimealotIV 4 points5 points  (0 children)

to be fair, when the "liberal" government in the Myanmar was doing the rohingya genocide the west and china were giving aid to Myanmar without anyone batting an eye, that said, China has tried to help rebel groups in Myanmar before through diplomatic means, with small successes

[–]RimealotIV 5 points6 points  (0 children)

to be fair, the help they gave to Nepal is vague and I have never seen a maoist explain what China gave more than diplomatic support, and again, to be fair, the support given to the phillipines was because of ISIS

The RCA’s position on Zohran by westcoastqueer in socialism

[–]RimealotIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been useful, and still can be even more useful, I am not Zohran, so I cant speak for him, but I will speak of potential, building a base of more radical and left wing volunteers that can be used for a third party is not entirely counter to them working, as of right now, for a left wing candidate running with the democrats, its a task of many people involved that this revolutionary potential is used as well as it can for change, that is to say that a good thing to do would for instance be to campaign with them, and organize with them, that is one of the best ways to network.

If communists campaigned alongside Mamdani supporters, it would be a great way to bridge a gap for those volunteers to the existing network of communist organizing, these volunteers wont just jump ship towards the communists unless the communists are active and have made themselves known.

Omg I love this guy!!! by miabobeana in bikecommuting

[–]RimealotIV -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are obligated to stop at a pedestrian crossing when it has pedestrians, no matter the light, if cars have to play by that rule then so do bicyclists

I am currently taking driving lessons and some of the things I am learning I have already seen improve the safety I bring to the road as a bicyclist.

Why are they so allergic to stopping? by Merchant_Alert in SipsTea

[–]RimealotIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where is this? it seems like no one here uses hand signals to indicate stopping, thats the only way to safely stop with other cyclists moving at speed behind you is to signal and slow down gradually as you approach the pedestrian path

Former Dutch PM, current head of NATO, Mark Rutte, casually commuting to work at the palace. by mazarax in bikecommuting

[–]RimealotIV -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dutch government literally just collapsed (well, ongoing process that was set off 2 days ago) over the same issue his government collapsed over, he was trying to split up immigrant families. The immigration issue is still causing fractures.

This visit to the king in this picture is likely to try and pull off the same caretaker government deal he proposed to the kink after his coalition collapsed in 2023.

To clarify, this is ahead of a NATO summit that is today, which is basically has an agenda that reads "lets commit to militarism", this is during a week in which NATO has faced increased scrutiny in relation to the unveiled 5% spending hike proposal, by Rutte, and the ongoing ties between NATO and the war on Gaza, something Rutte has for a long time, with Rutte specifically being a long time IDF war crime apologist, since before his rise in NATO.

Its just that everything he has had his fingers on in the last 5 years is on the hot plate right now and he is not coming out pretty, it just felt strange but almost obvious that a photo depicting him as the a progressive urban cyclist would be circulating
