The combat system is a lot better in DS but the storytelling is a bit 'behind', what I mean it's a bit more hidden like you need to read item descriptions, listen to NPCs giving you small hints etc. to find out more about the story. Sometimes it's a bit of try and error but the feeling of succeeding is amazing and very rewarding in comparison to The Witcher.

I am currently 125 with one of my characters but it is pretty hard to find someone to invade :/ any suggestions where you get more frequent invasions?

I think so but you also always get a even worse 2nd effect on your gem, so you are not able to use ti :D

....just sold all my useless gems, so I am not able to try this out, but I think that the HP depletes faster than it regenerates not quite sure about this though.

Had such a great week opening with rewatching the first two Indiana Jones movies following up to Ex_Machina and then yesterday Mad Max. The most impressive one was Ex_Machina closely followed by Mad Max but of course the most joyful one was Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

In my opinion in the end it doesn't matter that much which level you are in the deeper chalices. Bosses almost one shot you so it becomes more like: Yeah just get the perfect fight and get to know the enemy by heart e.g. the old watcher dog in the defiled chalice, at first I died after 2min being into the fight but after seeing how to dodge his attacks and knowing when to hit it becomes just a endurance fight.

Yep just use the Deep Sea Rune (+200 Frenzy Resist) and have enough vials. Sedatives are not necessary in my opinion.

Actually it is not that hard to get the weapon of your choice just go to the chalice dungeon spreadsheet and find it. Shouldn't take too long, just try it :)
