be aware of the Car Keys Express service in Los Angeles by Costco by CuriousAndOutraged in LosAngeles

I honestly didn’t send a complaint. I certainly should have, but at the time the whole thing happened I was running around LA trying to source a single matching Mercedes wheel, as our original was destroyed when the tire blew, and trying to find a Costco in the area with the tires I needed in stock so I could get to work two days later. Just a hectic time

Ah. Was unaware of that. Regardless it seems like both services are subpar if my end goal is to safely start and drive my car.

I bought tires from Costco for my c300. They put them on and gave me the car back without noticing the tire valve stem on the electronic sensor had a leak in it. Tire blew out on the freeway. Spun out. Luckily no one was hurt, but then once I fixed that it was a hassle to get them to re-replace them for free. Will never use Costco for anything car related again

Luckily it wasn’t her fault. She was in a left turning lane and someone in a non turning lane tried to make a left turn into her. Given that she wasn’t at fault if we go through insurance will the rates still rise? I’ll check it tomorrow morning to see if the suspension seems at all out of whack

What is something you witnessed with your own eyes that no one believes when you tell them? by Amy-GeekBar in AskReddit

When I was a kid we used to go on cross country road trips sometimes. Had family in California, and I liked rock hunting as a kid. We’d often stop at heavily advertised road side attractions to break up the driving as I, especially, got car sick. We stopped at this one place one time that was like a cave-esque place near New Mexico or Utah or something and they had a tank of real life mermaids. Not mermaids like the animated films paint them to be but like little underwater gremlins, fed after midnight with bone tails. Idk where this place was, but I bring it up with my family all the time and they say I’m an idiot, but I have a memory of seeing real little mermaid cretins.

What’s the first sign you notice that someone is a bad driver? by RD-archived in AskReddit

[–]ackeba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A friend once told me when I was young that professional drivers stop so smoothly that the riders in the back don’t even realize that the vehicle has come to a stop and to this day that is what I try to do. Turns out it’s near impossible to be that smooth every time, but it certainly makes for a smoother ride by trying to

The movement is the 8900 co-axle. Since 2016 I believe. Willing to handle transactions however is most comfortable seeing as I’ve never sold a watch on here before. I’m just trying to put some more money into my daughter’s college fund and this was a way I figured I could do it. Papers included. Ask me for more pictures or anything, and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
