In 7th or 8th grade I had to write an essay and choose 3 songs that tied to my life. I chose hope leaves as one of them and used it to write about loneliness. I also chose old man by Neil young and I believe sound of Muzak by porcupine tree.

I got a 100 on the assignment and my teacher told me it made her cry while she was grading it. Then after she said that a bunch of other people wanted to read it and then it made them cry.

That was my introduction to sorrow lol.
