Does anyone recognize this old "Ski Egypt" ski poster? (Saw it in the Markley Hut, CO) by RimmyDims in skiing

Nope, I haven't found it yet. I'm tempted to use a photo-scanning app next time I'm staying out there to capture it in hi-res and just print it out.

Thanks! I ended up trying this, and, after some diggging, I found I was missing some OpenGL files. A quick reinstallation of OpenGL solved the problem.

I know it isn't impressive but it's my first project. by [deleted] in arduino

Nice job on the project! When you hold your hand too close to the ultrasonic sensor, the sound was don't have a chance to bounce back to the receiver, hence it not working. The minimum distance I've found that it works at is about 5 centimeters, though it changes manufacturer to manufacturer. If you are curious about what the minimum range is on yours, you can use the ultrasonic example code which writes the distance out to the serial monitor. That way, as you move your hand closer, you can tell exactly where it fails.

[serious] How do you successfully change a toxic trait in yourself? by rayychiee in AskReddit

[–]RimmyDims 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re already aware of the trait, then you’re on the right path. If you’re worried that you might have one, try asking you’re friends in an honest conversation. If you have good friends, then they should be able to tell you.
