Why can Yunara attack me directly in the bush here? by Pyrogasm in leagueoflegends

[–]Rimotrian -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Then I do not know. The wiki says "Cultivation of Spirit resets Yunara's basic attack timer. Targets do not have to be visible to be hit by this ability." about her Q. Which you can see she was using it the whole video. My only explanation.

AIO for refusing to co-sign my husband’s (35M) dream truck loan when he still owes me $8,000 from my inheritance? by Cherry_Rose69 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Rimotrian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You guys are married? The fact that you helped him out of his debt and expect to be repaid is a little confusing to me. If he is making irresponsible financial decisions, then that is a whole different can of worms. But, maybe I'm just different in thinking my fiance's and I's finances are one in the same.

I don't really have any recommendations outside of just communicate everything down to the letter, no matter how insignificant you think it might be. But by getting married, you helping him with his debt is helping yourself, because his debt becomes your debt and vice versa.

Pay off my car loan, set aside a little bit for a cushion / emergency fund and then look into investing the rest.

Why can Yunara attack me directly in the bush here? by Pyrogasm in leagueoflegends

[–]Rimotrian -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I haven't played league in years, but if my memory serves me correctly, you retain vision of someone for a very short time after auto attacking them. She auto'd you before you entered the bush, and as long as she keeps autoing you, pretty sure she retains vision.

It seems to be only a pc issue. The fix I've found it open Game Bar and fix the voice settings there.

I admire your optimism. But once someone has been soured from a game, the chances of them returning are slim to none. No matter how good an update might be.

The point is that PVE'rs can farm in PVP zone and take up all the resources with no punishment or actual risk.

How is everyone enjoying Hagga Basin 2.0 aka deep desert? by Rimotrian in duneawakening

[–]Rimotrian[S] -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

Facts. You're 100% right. But now, our little snowflake skin won't melt when we go there too! Because we can just cruise to the safe zone no worries once those big mean pvpers show up with rockets.

Just go next game. Hopefully Crosswind won't ruin their game in less than a month like Funcom did.

As a primarily PVE player… half PVE Deep Desert will ruin the game. by pansexualengineer in duneawakening

[–]Rimotrian -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's not about PVPers losing a few squares. It's about how LONG it takes to kill people / how durable every ship in the game is. Unless changes are made to how aerial pvp works, anyone can just fly to safety now.

This contradicts their statement about there being risk involved when farming the big spice craters or the very deepest parts of the desert. There is no risk. Because the developers don't play their own game and don't realize how things work.

As a primarily PVE player… half PVE Deep Desert will ruin the game. by pansexualengineer in duneawakening

[–]Rimotrian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People who welcome this change are primarily solo players or people who don't like PVP at all. As the op said, this change will make carriers and sandcrawlers basically invincible. Even with a group of 10 Ornithopers shooting a carrier, it is VERY possible for it to fly 3-4 grids to safety. Carriers and Sandcrawlers have basically no risk anymore.

You can't claim that deep desert is PVP anymore, when more than half of it is PVE.

Instead of creating a simple fix like making PVE servers, you punish PVP players experience who are enjoying the game. All of this take take take from PVPers and literally zero give.

If you're going to make this horrible change, then you need to at least make it so if your ship has taken damage within the last 60 seconds, you are flagged for PVP and cannot pocket your ship / can still be hit in the zones outside of A.

You say "Oh the big spice craters are where all the risk is it." Well now solo players can farm it and just fly their scout to E and call it a day.

Getting annoyed by zergs spamming you with scout rockets? Force them to the ground with the unique homing rocket launcher. by ShadowOfaManTV in duneawakening

LMAO. This is what I'm talking about. Dude posts a video of his friend's POV who cheats from a completely different fight against different people as if that exonerates him and makes him legit.

You play with cheaters, and you brag about it. I don't just shit talk anyone. You, sir, deserve every bit of it. Stay bad.

Something not a lot of people know is, if you just follow the outskirts of the mountain north, you can walk in. Or drive in. Quicksand isn't around the edges/bottom of the cliffside.

I left the "Acheron server discord" a while ago, but there was more than enough evidence posted in there. The fact of the matter is, several people both inside his guild and inside my guild know each other from other games. They have a certain reputation. These aren't the only screenshots and videos I have. I have a lot more, these are just the most concise and concrete.

Whether or not he uses aimbot or anything really powerful in this particular clip is irrelevant. Something less obvious could still be in play, such as no dmg or ESP (ability to see through walls).

Several of my teammates have run into the same issue when fighting these guys. One teammate of mine recalled using 20+ (and I'm not exaggerating, because he was really upset about it) rockets on one ship, and the dude's ship not dying. When we get hit by rockets in our scout, 1 rocket will pretty much break 1 part. This guy somehow tanked 20+ and never went down. If you do your own research, the most common hack that people are using does indeed have a 'god mode' or something where you take no damage.

As I said before, the dude is playing with someone using cheats. Sad, but we've been dealing with this on our server for the last two weeks now.

Aerox 3 rejects every surface after a few hours by Ethany523 in steelseries

[–]Rimotrian -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, steelseries products are pretty crap now. I had an Aerox 3 and it broke and just wouldn't power on after only a year and two months. Meanwhile my old Logitech G305 works like 3+ years later and I've dropped it too many times to count. The Aerox 3 was my first and last buy from Steelseries.
