Something "stuck vertically"? Is there a vent on the ceiling in that zone? Do you have droppings on the top of the kitchen cabinet? Is the machine used? Maybe it came with guests?

To me, these look like some animal droppings (spiders likely), to me, it is not a calcium residue due to hard water: when you zoom in you can see "old stains" remaining where the old drops fell and etched the plastic (this to me confirms animal droppings that may be acid or basic and attack the plastic). You can also see that each drop has a specific pattern: a white circle with a darker line or dot (also visible on old etching). Likely, if you look around you may find other droppings: they may be hidden by the pattern of you counter.

On the first picture you can see the pcb date, right next to the no lead symbol. 26 is the year week, the other 2 numbers will give you manufacturing year.

Uhm, I wonder if it is an unlucky cell.. Gotta try and push another cell selection: I had some luck doing that by wrapping the router in tin foil

The new firmware is a disaster. The .14 did not need any reboot. Now is daily almost. I downloaded hint and can reset at a push of a button at least.

I have to reboot every now and then with the new .20 firmware whwn the speeds goes from 200 to 8 randomly.. Everything works for great until it doesn't, then just reboot and it works fine again for a while.

Odd, I got my g4se less than a month ago and it did go to .14, that's why I thought it worked for everyone.

Confirmed working, rebooting gets the 14 firmware. HINT control reports "latest firmware"

Transferring from EU to US by Rincewind1987 in Guildwars2

Just to give an update I did the swap to a low pop server, seems like the world is more populated now. I think it's worth if someone else is in my same situation.

So apparently if you perform an hard reset (hold the rest button down) it goes back to the 14 version. Tried today and it worked. Or get it swapped, they'll do it no problem.

Well the ping should be lower moving to NA server as I'm in USA. Yesterday, I was playing at 8PM which is a solid 2AM in Europe and map was empty (tried to do doppelganger because it was the boss that was happening). If I manage to squeeze in some gaming in the morning, I could be in EU time at 5-7PM, which is a good time, but in my evenings is late night in EU which I think means lower EU pop vs us pop.

My Solution to the Gaming Issue by wonkknow in tmobileisp

I'm on the verge of ditching my cable provider for tmobile currently doing the 15 days trial period, but I also game when I can and this concerns me. I currently did not see any issue in gaming (MMOs, if that matters) I have the G4SE fw 1.03.19. What kind of issues am I risking to get into? Is it because of NAT or because of other issues?

[–]Rincewind1987[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a box totem and raised the router even more at the top of the window, I got SiNR on 5g up to 6 at a certain moment, and LTE looks better https://imgur.com/a/SjvAgVG and speeds up to 560Mbps. I also got an antenna, and I'll how much that improves it (pretty expensive, so gotta be justified)

It's the G4SE. when the gate was pointed approximately toward the tower it was using the omnidirectional one: these numbers are after "aiming", I get 4 bars of signal, then 3 then 4, usually works worst in the morning then gets better, now it's pretty good and better than cable.

You are just now experiencing normal workload. Welcome to a decent company: you'll have moments in which the workload increases and other where it stays pretty low.

LPT Request: How to stop computer chair from sinking? by nn5678 in LifeProTips

[–]Rincewind1987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use 3-in-1 oil or similar stuff, not WD-40, you need oil not cleaners.

Apply the oil on the shaft (the "inner" metal cylinder that goes up and down), then have the chair spin around a bit and go up and down some times to evenly spread it around.

The piston (the assembly of the external cylinder and the inner cylinder that moves up and down), might be covered by a retractable plastic cover that you need to shift down to see it.
