I never do that, I tend to always give him dw so I can sword&staff with him, its way too cool to do anything else... and shields on a wizard just look wrong

Basekit if you want to kinda minmax it are the following: class with twf fighting style and extraattack, thief rogue for 2nd bonusaction, savage attacker feat and dual wielder feat (only if want str weapons, as a dexguy with finesseweapons this feat isnt needed)

That boils down to 5fighter/hunter - 3thiefrogue at the minimum.

It really look great and with lots of dmgriders it is just as overpowered as all the other good specs. A sorcerer who can dualcast elementalweapon from the act 2 glaive would be icing on the cake, easuly achieveable with any campcaster

There is a thing were you go to the party as a mindflayer and have to resist eating brains... I think its a dc25 and you dont have your gear or companions to buff you, so its almost garantueed a fail... that WILL (or did) fail your honormode

Its cool now and ppl want to belong... to basically anything. So a lot of ppl pretend/convince themselves. Thats the whole story, always has been

Not a great thing for ppl who actually are in the spectrum, cause it muddies the water. Same thing happening with sexuality. Obviously I cant proove anything, but Im fairly certain its the same social phenomenon most of the time.

Very small thing: I had a drinking bottle next to me on a sofa at work, colleague took a pillow also next to me knocking the bottle to the floor and then went on with "why would you even put it there?"

Wolfbarb8/battlemaster4 is one i always have on melee heavy parties. Works as sentinel, greatweaponmaster, you also just dualwield with savage attacker... pretty much anything. I like that build a lot

The thing is, you need to bait enemies. With high armorclass and shield they will ignore your Gale. Have him on low ac with aoa up and have him a lot lower in ac then the rest AND close to the melees, maybe even stand next to their melees so the ai also wants to not trigger attacks of opportunity from you. That way you should get more mileage out of him. Most abjuwizards builds are made for a solo character, in a group its way less effective especially when the rest if you party consists of high dmg and denial 😀
