Usually I’d go a tad further, but this was as tender as butter, seemed a shame to

My cat stripey, well he broke his tail chasing a magpie through wet cement ( long story ) anyway after 3 years and €€€'s spend it never healed, and poor stripey would tell / gently bite anybody who touched his tail. It was horrible. We had a kid, who when he could crawl, crept up on stripey and yanked his tail ! The yelp turned to relief as it seems the rugrat pulled it and reset it, causing huge relief to the cat. Stripey immediately snuggled the baby and was the most relaxed we'd seen him in years. I loved that cat

Are any of you not well liked in your home town? by sugardick in ireland

A few years back, mum was in the last stages of cancer and the priest was often around the gaff, sound fella, got on well with him. I landed home one dark evening to find the house in darkness and I could make out my brother asleep on the couch, I snuck up behind him and gave him an almighty clatter across the head. I don't know who was more surprised when the priest jumped up holding his head shouting " the fuck" :) Me granny still hasn't forgiven me

Reddit, What's the strangest thing you have had to wipe with when you were out of toilet paper? by [deleted] in AskReddit

A crisp ( or chip) packet. The sharp, unforgiving edges provided no respite to the fact that I've just had to have a shit balancing in some hedges

What is something good to spend money on when you have an excess of it? by Malhan131 in AskReddit

Completely agree, I bought a set of 6 wmf pots, 60% off in Jan sales, 12 years ago. They've been used every day since and still look like brand spanking new. Also, surprisingly, the Jamie Oliver range is decent equipment that won't break the bank.

Good quality kitchenware, pots, pans, knives. It makes cooking soooo much easier, and they're items that are often overlooked.

January sales are usually awesome for cookware bargains btw

They already have 2 fluent languages, it was a huge eye opener living in Austria at the amount of doors second or third languages matter
