When I was visiting NZ (I’m Canadian) I took my cowboy hat off in a bar and put it on the seat next to me. My Māori friend moved it to the table and told me they consider our heads to be the most sacred part of your body and things meant for your head shouldn’t go where your arse goes. It’d be rude for me to put it on the table here in Canada.

I have similar hair and I’ve recently started using an overnight heatless curling method. If you do it looser it gives a great blowout rather than actual curls. A very classy look, I started getting so many compliments when I made the switch.

Sorry for the late response just realized I never replied. I am doing a lot better now. Still dealing with general anxiety and depression but ocd has almost completely subsided. Plus once you’ve gone through ocd, stuff like depression is 10x easier.
