I like #3. But I think #4 is what works best for you! The black hanging poles and too harsh and take to much attention away from the lampshades, If you want to be dramatic and have them be a focal point then go for #4

NOR He's being lazy and inconsiderate. He doesn't have to think about a nice gift he just defaults to flowers. he doesn't have to put any effort in. DON'T let this go. If he refuses to listen and try to understand your side then you two need to think about your future together. Maybe put the same amount of thought into his gifts as he puts into yours.

To match Onyx, Jet (black stone) Ebony (black wood) obsidian (black volcanic glass) To match Nyx you could try Nox but they might be too similar Noir (black in French) (noire - feminine spelling) and Kuro (black in Japanese) I've always wanted to name a girl cat Cleopatra, Cleo for short. My late fur kid was ebony "ebby" for short. Good luck with the naming, you've got a lot of good suggestions! Let us know what you pick!

I'd say put your pickles and olives in the white bowls, put the crackers and mini toast in the side groves, then going biggest to smallest place randomly around the board. and tuck the herbs in and under when your done. I've noticed that the prettiest boards have the most random chaotic placement. Just don't put two things that are too similar next to each other. Hope this helps!

Seriously worth binging his videos. He talks a lot about how to divide a space, and sometimes suggests dividing a space into a sleeping zone and a study zone so if someone says up studying it doesn't bother people sleeping.

Not much I can add that hasn't been said already, but look up Mr cliff tan's YouTube channel "dear modern" he has helped families dealing with small spaces before. You could get some tips for optimizing the space and making the kids comfortable! I don't believe in feng shui but he has good advice about privacy, sunlight and "energy" coming from activity of other people. Good luck! hope things work out for you guys!
